Great price on these! Love that I can get them on Subscribe and Save so I don't have to worry about reordering. Since I found these for UTI, I simply won't be without them. So much better than antibiotics! Also, I have found that these capsules are easier to swallow than the Now brand (which I also like). And in the end, I like the powder better overall, but it's nice to have the capsules for convenience sake at night or when I am away from home. And these are nice capsules at a good price. One thing to note is that, if you are taking them for an active UTI and trying to follow the dosage instructions on various websites, they all seem to get the capsule dosage wrong. Two 500 mg capsules equals 1 gram. Most websites recommend 2 grams every 2-3 hours for active UTI, which they say is one teaspoon of powder or one capsule. Well, they are right about the teaspoon - it's 2 grams. But it takes FOUR 500 mg capsules to equal 2 grams (most websites say one capsule). Just some simple math there, but... If you're just doing maintenance and don't have an active UTI, just follow the instructions on the bottle. But if you have an active UTI and are trying to follow dosages for that, just remember, FOUR capsules is equal to ONE teaspoon of powder (or two grams). Lastly, this stuff really works! I don't ever want to be without it, and it's even easier with Subscribe and Save.

This is affordable and it is the same ingredient that is put into cat food to help prevent male cats from urinary blockages. It is a sugar and can be easily mixed into wet food - my cat liked the taste, which is a little sweet. It keeps bacteria from adhering to bladder walls and it really helped my beloved cat who had kidney disease. Once I started using this, he never blocked again. I used it sparingly since this is human grade - and not every day. Only used if I saw him strain or be in the box too long, then used for several days til he felt better. One could probably use it more frequently. check with your veterinarian and if your vet doesn't know about the wonders of D-mannose, shame on them! They should read Tanya's CKD site. That's not where I found out about D-mannose; it was on a vet site, but this is great stuff and you don't need to buy the prescription food if your cat won't eat it. It is beneficial for humans too.

I have had increasingly bad bladder problems for over 2 years now, largely due to the fact that the protective lining in my bladder is extremely thin and I have a very weak immune system. I was on an antibiotic regimen for over 14 months to stave off infections, but the antibiotics were wrecking havoc on my body. After stopping the antibiotics, I had a 3 month continual infection that got so bad that I had blood clots all throughout my bladder and it ended up damaging my ureters (the tubes that connect your kidneys to your bladder). I was DESPERATE for anything to help stave off the infections and the constant pain. After doing some online research, I came across this D-mannose. I figured, hey, give it a shot - you've got nothing to lose. It is 6 months later and I have YET to have another infection. I just take one pill every morning with a large glass of water, and NO INFECTIONS. NONE! WHAT SO EVER. If I feel a "twinge" like I might be getting pain from an infection, I will take a dose 2-4 times that day and by the next day, no infection. The D-mannose is great, yes, but I recommend this product in particular because it is the lowest price, is the most effective (I've tried a few brands), and the shipping is practically IMMEDIATE. I will continue to buy this product and I recommend it highly to anyone who has had bladder infection issues. I don't usually do the whole "natural" or "herbal" thing, but when it comes to this... D-MANNOSE IS THE WAY TO GO, STAY AWAY FROM ANTIBIOTIC FOR MAINTENANCE. :)

If you're using this for bladder or urinary tract sensitivity/pain, or have Interstitial Cystitis. then this product is actually quite helpful. In the years that I've had I.C. nothing else has helped as much as this. But be patient. It may work overnight, or it may take a bit of time to help shield your bladder from irritants. I gave it four stars as I'm uncertain as to whether other brands are more effective, and because I still need to use a Rx product (an anti fungal) maybe once a week. But it helps more than anything else that I've tried and had truly improved the quality of my life.

Es gab im Sommer diesen Jahres einen Beitrag im Schweizer Fernsehen SRF zu Blasenentzündungen und 2 Ärztinnen aus dem Spezialbereich Gyn empfahlen darin die D-Mannose als Vorbeuge Maßnahme gg BEs. Sogar seit 20 (!) Jahren empfehle sie dieses Mittel, erklärte eine. D-mannose ist ein Einfachzucker der nicht verstoffwechselt wird, dh auch nicht dick macht. Er ummantelt E. Coli Balterien die BEs verursachen können, so dass deren Fangarme sich nicht in die Blasenwand nisten und eine Infektion hervorrufen kann. Die Kapseln sind natürlich einfach zu dosieren, dass leichte Brennen dass ich immer ein wenig hatte ist damit völlig verschwunden. Es ist kein Wundermittel, es muss sorgfältig eingenommen werden und alle gängigen Maßnahmen (warm halten, nach dem gv aufs wc, viel trinken, .....) müssen weiterhin eingehalten werden, aber immerhin gibt es die Möglichkeit sich richtig damit ein zu stellen und damit endlich etwas in der Hand zu haben. Das ist die 2. Bestellung und ich bin sehr zufrieden.

ich leide wie sehr viele frauen oft an einer blasenentzündung die dann zum harnwegsinfekt wird.... dieses produkt hilft extrem gut beim ausspülen der bakterien und stärkt den harntrakt...es ist auch etwas günstiger als das pulver von d mannos das ich davor hatte das hat glaube ich um die 40 (!!!) euro gekostet...aber die kapseln halten recht lang und das geld ist es mir hierfür alle male wert :)

Mir haben diese Kapseln wirklich viel gebracht, ich habe sehr oft, das heißt regelmäßig alle 1-2 Monate unter wirklich sehr unangenehmen Harnwegsinfekten gelitten. Seitdem ich dieses Produkt regelmäßig verwende, 1-2 Kapseln pro Woche, habe ich deutlich weniger Infekte! Bislang hat nichts anderes bei mir etwas gebracht und Antibiotika auf Dauer sind leider auch nicht das Wahre.
