Does not work as intended
The winding mechanism has some tension, but the switch the cable is supposed to depress when you pull back on the hook only allows the winder to advance on click. It doesn't work even if you hold the switch down. Look for other solutions.

Hit or Miss
Ordered a couple of these to have them in different places (purse, work etc.). A couple worked well and a couple were glitchy and stuck

amazing, plasticy for the price
I spend a lot of time in airports and was constantly winding and unwinding my cables. It is a great tool that does not add bulk or much weight to my backpack. Highly recommend!

Useless
It takes about 10 tries to get it to roll up, and when using it for standard headphones the ear pieces pop off when it does finally roll up. Absolutely useless.

Took a second to figure out
No instructions but only a couple possible choices to retract cord. Once I hooked it to the spindle and pulled, it wound the cord. My cords were quite thick but it worked.

Need instructions
Looks good but there were no instructions as to how to put the cord in it much less how it works!

This was so frustrating it would not work and this was the only thing that came close to what I wanted.
