It's ok
Bought this as a gift for someone who is new to bonsai. Has lots of info on different species, but limited practical knowledge for someone who only has room for a few trees

Beginners luck
I received my new book am excited to view the gift videos to learn more about this ancient art. I have 6 bonsai trees they are growing very fast. 4 weeping willows, 1 Juniper Tree and 1 Jade. The book is very easy to read and follow.

Very practical, great place to start!
I’m learning the art of bonsai and purchased this book to help. I really like how practical it is and easy to follow and digest. Has given me practical guidance and only makes me want to learn more!

Not that useful
Really not all that useful. I highly recommend Peter Chan‘s MasterClass, far better, explanations, and illustrations. It’s a lot more expensive, but highly worth it. For beginners, it’s a much better book, and for experienced people, it’s a must have. Peter Chan is incredible, and I highly recommend his YouTube video series Herons Bonsai. It provides master classes in Everything, Bonsai.

You’ll find as good or better info on Wikipedia
Vague, unspecific, repetitive, and at times contradictory, this “guide” is hardly worth the money. It’s not a how-to. It’s not even really informational. It’s a cursory, error-riddled overview of the weakest caliber. The “exclusive” video is just a link to some YouTube videos that are only marginally more informative than the book itself (at least there are visuals which add something to the narrative). Look elsewhere for something actually helpful

Per principianti e intenditori, ottimi consigli per entrambe. Ben articolato con foto e descrizioni. Da avere.

Not as informative as I hoped consisting of only just over 120 pages which weren't exactly crammed with text. The information given was interesting and noteworthy although I felt it lacked depth. It only skimmed the surface of the subject but is a good beginners guide. The layout of the book made it easy to read which was good and I found it an enjoyable read.
