Simple casing for the battery, battery holder and lid (no terminals or connections). If you are missing either the entire insert where the 9V is placed or just the cover, PERFECT product. In my case, I did not need to replace the entire casing or insert just the lid and it fit like the original on my Ibanez V70ze. 5 stars for price and design that would also fit a few of my other acoustic-electric if I had to replace the whole thing.

I bought this to replace the battery box in my Godin La Patrie CW Concert. The original battery box used two screws while this box used four screws. No biggie. The box fit the square hole cut out of the original perfect so that was good. The downside of this box is the battery holder that slides inside the unit. The end where the battery connector tabs fits to the large and small tab, but does not leave room for the connector. It's an easy fix with a larger drill bit or a hot knife to trim it. But overall for the price it's great.

Not using this for a guitar so can’t rate it for that but if you need a nice internal battery holder for a 9v then this is great.

One of the springs is rusted and misaligned. It also catches on the hole when closing.

Item was smaller than i though...wouldnt cover the entire pre made cut out for my bass..had to order a different model.

In time the battery cover to my girlfriend's Ibanez acoustic electric guitar became missing. This one fit just right. Just needed the cover and not the lower box assembly. It was an easy fix. Satisfied customer here.
