How to select hair texture on this flat iron , i think there is something wrong with mine

This is a problem! The first one I got at Costco never wanted to turn on. I ordered this one on Amazon and it has the same problems. The 1 button to control everything is not effective. But-the answer to your question per the instruction is quickly press power button twice, then continue tapping until you reach your preferred heat setting.
