mine came with no directions, where can I find some?

You can see the electrical contacts (silver prongs) in the battery compartment of the charger. The battery has corresponding contacts. Put the battery into the charger with these contacts aligned, plug the charger into a wall outlet (be sure the outlet is not controlled by a wall switch) and leave it charging until the red light turns green. The directions are on the back of the charger -- it doesn't matter if you plug it in right side up or up-side down. The car cord: big end plugs into the cigarette lighter socket of your car and the small end plugs into the hole on the top of the charger. Note: it may not be charging unless your engine is running.

Yes, Wasabi part number is BTR-BN1-JWP, it is 1200mAh. Long lasting. Replaces NP-BN1.

Does it work with sony cyber shot dsc w800 camera?

I don't know but if you scroll to the bottom of the page it lists the cameras it fits. That's what I did.

For the Sony DSC-W730: can I charge this battery by plugging my camera cable directly into a USB port in my computer without using the AC adapter?

If you always charged your battery this was - then this battery will do the same thing inside your camera. Sony manual says this "Charging by connecting to a computer -- the battery can be charged by connecting the camera to a computer using a dedicated USB cable". This is a great battery for the price!
