Bouwhuis/Carl/Van Zeeland/Vern

I discovered this some years ago on a trip to Amsterdam where a dear lady in small classical music shop recommended it. We took a chance. What a discovery! Other reviewers have described the effect of this music as going on a rollercoaster, or having to just let it wash over you. This may be minimalism, but it is lyrical, melodic and simply gorgeous, and the four piano format is a stunning concept. He has written several other long compositions for four pianos, and they are all nice in their own way, but this one stands out as, what shall I say, heavenly, sublime and totally unique. So great news that apparently it is now re-packaged and re-released, and therefore more accessible than before.
