I just received the tripod today. It arrived on time and in new condition. I purchased this for my spotting scope that I use at the range for target shooting. Upon examining the tripod, it appears to be well made of quality materials. It seems to be quite sturdy, and has a hidden hook from which to suspend a weight should additional stability be required. The horizontal boom feature is cleverly hidden with the center column and appears to be very useful for odd angles or for photographing large prints, maps, or charts that won’t fit in our document/photo scanner. I tested it with my spotting scope outside viewing the mountains in the distance and the roof pipes of a neighbor’s house. The tripod keeps the scope very steady and maintains the position as set, which for checking targets is a must. I ordered mine with the ball head since I didn’t need the fluid head for my intended purposes. I also like the way it folds down to a very compact size. I was a little skeptical of the 4-section legs being sturdy enough, but they are surprisingly stout. Besides, for my purposes, I can get the eye-level height I require for my straight-view spotting scope without extending the smallest leg sections. As expected, at the lowest magnification of the 20-60X spotting scope, the tripod provides a very steady view through the scope. Naturally, at the 60X magnification, there is some obvious shake but that is as expected. Overall so far, without having field-tested it, I believe I will be very well satisfied with this tripod and it should serve my needs well. It was money well spent for my purposes!

I use this tripod constantly for both of my YouTube channels, and it has quickly become one of my most trusted pieces of gear. Just the other night I needed to set up on top of a stadium, and thanks to its extra height and ability to pivot at the top, I was able to position my camera above a stadium light that would have completely ruined my shot with any other tripod. The stability at full extension is impressive, and it handled the challenge without a problem. The horizontal/overhead arm is incredibly versatile for overhead shots and unique angles, while the detachable monopod adds even more flexibility. Build quality is excellent — solid aluminum, smooth ball head, and strong locks that inspire confidence when supporting heavier cameras. I will start by saying I am not much of a photographer but I can recognize a very well built product. There is absolutely no wobble or slop on any of the joints or hinges and everything on it feels very sturdy. I have only just taken it out of the box but the amount of precise adjustment is awesome! I really like the mechanism for the swing arm and how it folds up so small, when I first took it out of the box I thought I was missing a part or something but you just have to unscrew the knob right above the hinge and slide it up. All of the joints lock very well but are still very quick and easy to unlock and adjust. It is by far the most expensive tripod I have ever owned but that isn't saying much since most the tripods I have ever owned are like $15, so I would definitely say this one is worth the money (especially considering some tripods I have seen are several hundred dollars. Like I said, I am not a professional photographer by any means I can see the functionality already. All of the adjustment knobs are buttery smooth and they are complete with degree marks for precise tweaks for a shot. One other thing to note is that the telescoping rod / swing arm thing does come with a kind of oil / lubricant on it so that it slides better so it may be worth wiping it down before use so you don't get it all over your camera after messing with it. Overall, I am super happy with the purchase! Would recommend!

Good tripod for product photography, but will work in many scenarios. Multiple tilt angles, and multiple ways to use. It is a sturdy tripod and it is easy to use. The legs extend easily with the paddle releases. Great tripod, k and f did a good job with this one.

The stand works great, keeps steady for all my long exposure photos even with a heavy lens. My ONLY COMPLAINT is 2 of the push ins to retract and flip the legs back up to put away does not push up correctly, so i am constantly pressing it over and over till it finally retracts back correctly to fold the legs. Other than that it works great for my needs.

Wish I had ordered this tripod sooner. All the features I need and none that I don’t. I’m able to get my camera up high, able to get nice overhead shots, or use it as a monopod. It’s well built, sturdy, easy to adjust and folds up into a very nice carry bag (which comes with it). Highly recommend this tripod. As they say, “The juice is worth the squeeze.”

This is the best tripod I've ever had (I use them for my phone). All my previous tripods were too short for my height and I could never get the right angle. This one allows me to get perfect angles in very tight spaces. Clever design, feels tougher than most tripods, love the ball head. If I ever lose or break mine, I'll probably buy it again. I bought this and the selfie stick from K&F, both have been winners.

This is one of the best tripods I've bought and it took almost 2 years for any of it to fail but it finally has. The head screw snapped. One other thing I've found on these tripods is that the legs can become loose and you will need two allen wrenches to adjust them. Not the end of the world but something to keep in mind. The adjustments and the ways you can customize how this thing sets up and the different shots you can get with this tripod are honestly unmatched. And considering how much use I got out of this tripod, having to replace the head is very minor. I would still buy this again.

I have been looking hard for a proper tripod to use with my Home Theatre microphone to make precise measurements. And this it! I first got a mic stand boom only to be disappointed at the lack of accuracy for what I needed. Sure good for a concert but not for precise movement measurements. For Home Theatre calibration, I need to take precise measurements within a tridimensional space. Say within 10cm of each other and this is very hard to do correctly without the right tool. This tripod is awesome, it allows me to set the Audio and Video Receiver microphone precisely over the main listening position or other. Then take the next measurement 10cm to the right then left, then 10cm above, below etc consequently. Just by looking at the measurements on the tripod itself. It is very smooth, so if you are filming as well is perfect. I imagine that this tripod would be perfect for something like stop motion filming for example. It comes with a very fancy carrying bag and even an ok instructions manual. I have to say that the quality of this tripod is really making me reconsider the quality of what is coming from China. I can't fault it and I love it. And the price is just right too. Highly recommended.

La rótula de bola 360° (BH-28L) es fluida y precisa, permitiendo ajustar el encuadre con rapidez. El bloqueo es firme y aguanta perfectamente el peso del equipo una vez fijado. Il treppiede è molto stabile, ha molte possibilità di utilizzo grazie all'asta che si può inclinare in diverse angolazioni, non solo in orizzontale. Dopo un utilizzo ho avuto un problema con la testa del treppiede, (anche se la vite era bloccata la testa continuava a ruotare) l'assistenza da parte del produttore K&F Concept è stata ottima sia per la comprensione del problema riscontrato sia nelle tempistiche e collaborazione per inviarne un'altra in sostituzione.
