First, I need to complain about the packaging these weights arrived in. "THERE WAS NONE." No small box or even a mailing envelope. It was sent in the manufacturers plastic bag with the weights. Also, no tape at the top to prevent someone from opening the bag. Amazon Services in Albuquerque, NM should be more careful when mailing items out to customers. I was very "DISAPPOINTED" with the mailing process.Next, the review of the weights. I like the 1 lb weights with the handles. The handles are just the right size for my small hands. I plan on using these weights with my step aerobics videos. So far I like them.

Make sure you test the weight
These are awesome dumbbells, soft and exactly as described. I mistakenly thought 4 lbs would be a good weight for walking but it turned out to be too much. I ended up returning them just fine but then thought...hmm I probably could have kept the 4lbs and just removed some of the beans or weighted material that is inside and then add it if I get stronger???
