LEGO City Ambulance Helicopter 60179 Building Kit, New 2019 (190 Pieces)

The Lego Ambulance Helicopter is a fantastic set that truly inspires hours of imaginative play. It has been an amazing addition to our Lego World we have set up! The kids have set up a mountain of snow to help with the play! Having all age group children, it was interesting to see how long this took a 5 year old to build. He was frustrated and settled in for the minifigs and accessories. He had his older brother, by two years, build it for him. Needless to say, it was done rather quickly. For the younger kids, unless they are experienced builders, you may want to try the new 4+ Legos or the Lego Junior line. Both of those are made exactly like the older age group Lego's except they have a one piece frame and easier to build. Excellent value and I look forward to adding more to our collection!

Leog is one of the few things that can keep my daughter occupied, on her OWN! This is very important during the stay at home period, so that I can have some time of my own. This helicopter set is a good choice for her to assemble by herself. I mean not too easy so she doesn't feel bored, and not hard definitely for a 5 year old. And the mini figures that come with the set are so cute! after building it, she can still play with the ambulance scene again and again.

I'm a big fan of this set... the helicopter once completed is actually larger than I would have thought. The yellow and red together look really nice as well. Pros: - The overall size of the helicopter and sturdiness of the set... a kid can play with this set and not easily break it apart. - The 3 LEGO minifigs that come with this set... you typically only get 2 minifigs with a set this size, so a 3rd is a bonus. - The unique design and structure of the helicopter... the rear propeller is neat and the back hatch that opens and closes is a nice touch. - The detail on the inside of the helicopter to provide emergency care is awesome... more detail than usual. - The stretcher and snowboard are both great pieces that add lots of playability. - The snow skids are unique and different from other helicopters... glad to see this new approach. Cons: - The female LEGO minifig has the typical face design... something new and fresh would have been nice. - There are a lot of stickers with this set... lots of stickers mean help from mom and dad when it comes to building. Overall, I'm a fan of this set and my son is already playing with it constantly. Most importantly, as mentioned above, it's sturdy enough that he can fly it around and I don't have to worry about pieces constantly falling off. My 4 year old got this for Christmas. It was easier/quicker than a lot of the other sets we have gotten to assemble, and it is a large helicopter when finished. (Much bigger than the other helicopters we have.) It works well for him, as he is still at an age where he just wants to play with the finished product more than build or modify it.

Very substantial helicopter for the money. It's solid and big, unlike the accessory heli's that come with the police/fire stations. Nice colors. Pairs well with the LEGO hospital, but you should get it's own baseplate as helipad.

Gave this as a birthday gift and the child loved it! His mom said that he had a great time putting it together. And the Amazon price on this was amazing! Wish I had purchased more sets.

Purchased as a gift for my coworker, he absolutely loved it. He assembled it within his coffee break, and was playing with it in no time. Please no coworker is a 23 year old man. Lego is a hit for all ages!!

This was received in perfect condition, ahead of ETA. This was assembled and put into play mode within the hour by my 8 Y.O. 😁

Very good Lego set. It's very entertaining and versatile so it offers a lot of play possibilities.

Great toy. Hours of fun. I suggest you reinforce the blades as they get bumped off easily.
