I was prescribed it along with other treatments and I found I was using it as a general skin emollient and getting good results. The cream is thick and dispensed well by the pump action container. Dry flaky areas became soft and supple with daily use. I found this to be better than more expensive branded creams and lotions. It has no fragrance and is a little sticky and greasy when applied but is absorbed.
