I have been loving these pruners for the past two years! They are easy to use and help me to power through 3/4 " branches! They work well in my smallish hands, and it is easy to change to the ratchet function and back to the regular pruning. Unfortunately, after 2 years of good service, the spring popped out while using. I contacted the Gerossi company via email to see if they had instructions for replacing the spring. After providing my order #, the customer service rep told me that they would send me a replacement pair. It is so good to know that this company stands behind their products and values their customers! I will certainly purchase again from this company and recommend it to others!

I instantly loved these pruners as they seem to cut through every branch and stem I needed to prune with the utmost ease. For someone with weak hands, these are the ideal pruner as they don't require all that much hand strength to successfully cut a fairly thick 3/4" branch. The handle design feels very comfortable in your hand, and you will effortlessly be pruning everything quickly and efficiently. My only negative about it was my last pair I bought didn't even last 6 months. Unacceptable. What I noticed was a small rivet that holds the spring in place for the cutting blade broke free and the tool became useless from that moment on, despite me trying to repair it in some fashion. Yes, I did order another pair from Amazon as I really do love these pruners and I'm hopeful that was just a rare instance of a manufacture glitch. If these don't last as long the second time around, I won't endorse these any longer.

The Pruning shears are sharp and ready to use on green or dried-up branches; the ratchet action is smooth and works well. The easy lock-on and off is very convenient when doing multiple bushes, and thicker handles for long gardening tasks would be nice.

They came on time and work great. Very sharp. I also appreciate the strap on the handle that keeps the shears from falling off my wrist when I do not want to put them down. The shears are always available to me especially when I am cutting fruit from branches. The ratchet power can be changed as well.

These are great pruning shears. Very sharp. You can turn the ratchet function on and off. It looks like it will last forever. It feels good in my hand and cuts through branches easily. It’s totally worth the price. I highly recommend

Work wonderfully and nice and sharp

To start, I apologize to the company for not leaving my review last year. I had some unexpected surgery that I had to deal with. I bought their original pruner from the company last April. There's a spring inside the handle that allows these cutters to work as stated. About 45 days after I bought them, that spring went missing and I have no idea what happened to it, as I didnt drop the cutters or anything like that and I dont abuse my tools. I like the tool (as well as the concept) and I needed to use them again. My mother bought me a similar pair from some company on QVC about 35 years ago. THAT pair is finally starting to show its age and break down. So I wanted another pair. Back to the story.... So about 3 or 4 months after I saw that they broke, I contacted the company to explain what happened. All I wanted was that spring, and since it was well beyond the warranty, I expected to pay for it. Gerossi’s customer service was wonderful to speak with, and they offered to replace the (entire) pruners even though the Amazon 30-day warranty had expired. These Gerossi ratcheting pruners work just as well as the much more expensive pair of ratcheting pruners that I received a long time ago. These Gerossi pruners are very well built, and are every bit as comfortable and easy to use. After I received the replacement pair of pruners, I put them to work and they worked perfectly. Even with an arthritic right thumb, these ratchet pruning shears made cutting through 3/4” thick, dried-out branches painlessly easy. These pruners and the seller are both excellent. Over this last year or so, I've already recommend both to a friend and will do it again. And I won’t hesitate to make future purchases from this seller.
