A compact Bretton Plotter
A compact Bretton Plotter that has no protuberances allowing it to be tucked in with the charts or almanac and easy to stow in the cockpit.

This plotter is not great for two reasons: - The protractor is held to the body of the plotter, in the centre, with a brass eyelet - this eyelet has warped the body of the plotter so it doesn't sit flat on the chart. If I hold one end flat on the chart, the other end is clear of the plotter by about half a centimeter. This means when holding it on the chart you have to spread your fingers and try and press it down to make it flat at both ends. As such the use of the plotter is harder than it needs to be. - The edge of the plotter is rough. As a result, when running your pencil down it, you end up with a jagged line on the chart. Neither issue is the end of the world, but awkward hand positions and jagged lines are a sufficient pain that I am now buying another plotter.
