MIXED REVIEWS #1-AWFUL. BOTH KIDS. BOTH BOXES. My sister in law just informed me. Both of her kids. YUCK. #2-OTHER NEPHEW, STEPFATHER.. Loved them. Oinked out on box. Changed from 1 to 4 stars.

This is a nice update to the EnviroKidz line. It tastes of cinnamon and is filling. It is a tough cereal but won't rip up your mouth like Cap'n Crunch. I tend to pour out a bit less than I normally would for a large cereal due to the size of the pieces. I took a risk buying four at a time but don't have any regrets. Definitely wait for a sale because the box is smaller than you'd expect.

It can be hard to find gluten free cereal, and for those of us who need it, it usually ends up being expensive. This cereal was pleasantly surprising in that it tasted exactly as I expected it to, wasn't any more expensive than any other cereal, and had a low sugar load (9g sugar per 1-1/4 cup serving). Some other reviewers were unhappy with the crunchiness of it, but because I was expecting this, it wasn't bad. It is a little crunchier than Cheerios would be, but it's not as crunchy as Corn Nuts and it won't strain your jaw or break your teeth. There is an ever-so-slight sliminess to it, as though it had a lot of starch of xanthan gum in it, but in a bowl with milk, I wouldn't expect it to be noticeable to most people.

Glad that a portion of the proceeds goes to help the Rhinos, and that they are natural and vegan, but they took forever to arrive. I had one box sent to my sister in NY to take to Africa with her to eat these rhinos in front of the lions. They are not very sweet, which I like but she doesn't, and they were a bit stale. I had a bowl and gave the rest to my service dog. Not sure if my sister fed hers to the lions.
