I used the Holts Air Con Odour Bomb in my car first, and it completely removed the musty smell from the vents, leaving a fresh, clean scent. I also tried it on my home AC unit — worked just as well! I bought a car that required some love and attention. The interior needed some attention and even after cleaning the carpets and interior, there was a musky smell I could not get rid off. I bought this product to try to remove the smell, and it definitely did the job and was very effective. Was very simple to use and instructions were easy to follow.

It was worth the price and the car smelt lovely afterwards but it didn’t last long. I’m going to try another as the car got musky being stood for a while. Otherwise it’s a simple task and seemed to do its job. I assume it would work brilliantly on newer cars.

Not sure if Aircon regas is just a con: nothing wrong with the a/c in my system, super cold albeit smells on start up. Removed and replaced pollen filter which was full of crud, let this bomb off and boom! All good again! Slight neutralizer scent pleasant and inoffensive. So far so good. Cheaper than a mobile.guy selling me unnecessary service

Used it, bad smell was gone while the product was covering the smell, but after 2 weeks back to bad smell once the products aired out

I cannot believe the number of people giving this product low star reviews and clearly thinking this product is a CAR sanitiser. This is an AIR CON sanitiser meaning it sanitises your AIR CON. If you want to clear bad smells that are quite obviously caused by the upholstery and being circulated by the ventilation system then wet vax your cars upholstery & carpets thoroughly BEFORE using this product. I inherited an old Land Rover which was used and abused on a farm for 10 years and believe me it reeked of old wet dogs, god knows what else and the air con smelt fowl. This is what I recommend others to do to get the best result. Thoroughly wet vax all carpets/upholstery, clean the leather if you have it and wait a few days for it all to dry. Replace the ventilation pollen filter. I feel this is a must to eliminate all causes of bad smells. Pop this product in your car and follow the instructions, however this is where I deviated and extended the recirculation time from 10 minutes to 30 minutes. Knowing how bad this car was I deemed it necessary. Sit back and enjoy a fresh smelling car. Some may think what I have suggested is a little extreme, and yes it maybe, but if you want a quick fix then expect short lived results. Spend the time and effort and you will reap the long term benefits.

Easy to use and does smell very nice, probably the best smell for me vs others available. My car stays quite clean, as I don’t have pets or passengers often, so I thought it would be easier for the freshness and scent to hang around. However it only seemed to noticeably last about a week (maybe a touch more). That said, I would buy again.
