OXO Good Grips Cast Iron Brush​

I avoided cleaning my cast iron with brushes like these because I was under the assumption it would remove the non stick coating I had built up. Not so. It's great to use when the pan has a few stuck areas. To be honest, since I started cleaning with this brush those problems have lessened.

I am trying to restore a Crueset cast iron grill pan someone gave me. I saw this recommended online when I was researching how to clean this badly abused pan. I was sceptical but this is one brilliant brush for scrubbing up cast iron. Exceeded expectations!

It works well to get baked-on grease or other debris from pans and air fryer rack without scratching the teflon coating. I would prefer a longer handle on it but it does the job. Looks like it will last a long time.

This is pretty good little brush at a good price. I like the fact that the bristles are tough enough to clean well, the short, stubby handle makes it easy to use, and I don't have to worry about it rusting over time. The scraper tip doesn't work for my pan - it's a griddle-skillet, with ridges to allow the grease to accumulate at the bottom of the pan and away from the meat. And my pan is square, so there's very little in the way of flat surfaces to be scraped. But there are corners, so I'm in it for those tough little bristles. Before I got this scrub brush, I kept my griddle at the back of the cabinet because whenever I thought about using it, I'd remember how hard it was to clean and then choose another pan instead. Well, my griddle is back at the front of the cabinet again. I've used this brush twice, and I plan to use it a lot more often. It really does a very good job.
