on what side should the cleaver be sharpened?

I use a wet stone and sharpen both sides. YouTube has videos that can help you on sharpening your knives. I love my cleaver and it works on watermelon very easily.

How tall is tc1506 blade height?

This is a great cleaver. The blade height I would say is about 4". It is very comfortable and sharp. Makes cutting watermelon a lot easier! ☺️
