What is the sweetener?

This product is sweetened with Aspartame. It leaves a horrible aftertaste. I do not recommend it. I was so excited when I saw it because I always drank Diet Cherry 7Up but, I can't have carbonation now. Very disappointed.

Can this be used to flavor soda stream sparkling water?

Yes, add to any glass of carbonated/seltzer water either store-bought seltzer water or made by soda stream for the effect of a 7up soda. I could never use plain water.
