These Gadgets Hut travel adapters are exactly what I needed for my recent trip to the US. They’re compact, lightweight, and easy to use — just plug them into the socket and then your UK charger fits right in. The adapters felt sturdy and well-made, with no wobble or loose connections. I can never find my travel adapters when I need to travel, so yet again had to order some in, far cheaper than what you see at the airports, and these are probably the best ones I've had. There are the UK safety shutters meaning you need a proper 3 pin plug to operate them, which is a little odd given the US sockets have no such safety. There is no earth pin, so really this is for phone chargers, laptop chargers and other double insulated type goods. I found all my UK plugs fitted fine, and I experienced no sparking or difficulty with any of the US sockets either, the pins seem to be well made. If you are travelling and want to fast charge your phone or laptop then these do the job, I took one in my hold luggage and one in my hand luggage - just to be sure I didn't loose both of them :-D
