I have used other locks on my shed before with limited success as they tend to go rusty and stiff. I have used these locks now for a couple of years and still as good as new. Reasonable price too - would I recommend them? Absolutely

They are well made and are solid locks. We have used these for a couple of days, today’s date 13 Jan 2021, and so far so good. They don’t look like the type that would deteriorate in weather... but our old ones (same brand and type) we used for over 10 years became difficult to open so we reordered them because these locks are difficult to break so we like this lock. Will update if or when the weatherproof of these particular locks appears to change. Two locks have four identical keys. Packaged very well. Took me ages to prize open the keys on the packaging. It nearly broke my heavy duty scissors! But I liked the way the key teeth’s we’re protected. Was very satisfying when I was able to get the keys out and when I clicked the locks out of the packaging.

Picked these up for securing site gear and the van—needed something that could take a beating and still hold firm. Laminated steel body feels solid, and the shackle’s got proper resistance. Key action’s smooth but tight—no sloppy turns or sticking. Used them in all weather—rain, frost, and dust—and they haven’t rusted or seized. The rubber bumper helps protect against knocks, and the lock mechanism hasn’t jammed even after months outdoors. Ideal for toolboxes, gates, or shed setups. Each lock comes keyed alike, which is a bonus—no need to carry separate keys. I keep one on the van and one on the back gate. No drama, no compromise. 👍 Pros ✅ Laminated steel—built to take knocks ✅ Weatherproof—holds up in rain and frost ✅ Keyed alike—less pocket clutter ✅ Smooth key action—no sticking or jamming ✅ Rubber bumper—protects against impact 👎 Cons ❌ Not high-security grade—good for general use, not vault-level ❌ Slightly bulky—might not fit tight latch setups ❌ No key duplication included ❌ Needs occasional oiling if left out long-term 🧭 Personal Review If you want padlocks that hold up under pressure and don’t mess about, this MASTER LOCK twin pack earns its spot. I’ve used them across site gear, van access, and outdoor storage—no issues, just solid protection and clean key action. Proper stash-ready kit for anyone who wants their gear locked down without the faff.

I only wanted one padlock but most seem to be sold in pairs. The padlock is strong and does the job and supplied with a spare key which is good. The problem was getting them off the backing card which was so difficult. I had to get other tools out to prise them off and was in danger of injuring myself! I don’t know why they had to be so securely fixed.

Great Locks, feel strong and are weatherproof. 4 keys came with the 2 locks and i was surprised that all 4 keys work in the 2 locks, which is good because you haven't got to individually mark which 2 keys are for which lock. Only a problem if you are giving one of the locks to somebody else and therefore all the keys open both locks, but i cant imagine many people doing this. Price for the 2, i thought, was exceptional value for a good brand like this and as i say, they seem very good quality, so i would highly recommend this as a purchase if you require some locks.

Great locks and i feel secure in their use, that they will not break easily and will remain robust. Only had them in use for about a month or so, no issues with them. Nice action on opening/closing them.

Great quality padlocks, bought to replace an Amtech one at £5 which broke pretty much immediately. Reading reviews of pretty much any outdoor lock will put you off each of them given the amount of 1* reviews, but I'm glad I decided on this one regardless. Time will tell how it holds up but so far it's been exposed to torrential rain for pretty much 3 weeks and still looks and works like its brand new out of the packet. Great value for money as well, very highly recommended

I have been using these padlocks outside for about 18 months now and the still look and function as if they were brand new without needing any maintenance. There’s no visible rust and the mechanism still works smoothly and effortlessly. Overall, great security and reliability and I couldn’t ask for more.

Alles in allem recht gut.
