We have a new puppy who has now been with us for a number of months. After having been though a lot of pet products here are the standouts. Cheap Rawhide: This rawhide is one of the more affordable versions however it is very thin and small and our 8 month old puppy can consume on in about 15 minutes or less. Probably best for young (baby teeth) or small dogs. I recommend the premium rawhide. These can be 3 to 6 times thicker which really matters. The puppy has to chew on it rather than break it into dangerous pieces. The price per pound is reasonable for the quality and the time it takes her to go through one. Note that there are many chews out there to choose from and some can be incredibly expensive if you do the math and consider the pound price, like $35-70 a pound or more. Just hold upright and dump the kibble on top, give it shake and serve. Or take your time and stuff each part by hand. Makes for a fun toy even without food. Our dog out grew most of the snuffles and all plush toys as she got to where she could simply rip them a part. Item arrived and was as described. Thicker cut chips that last longer than thinner ones. My dog loved these as a treat. They are durable and the box is full when it arrived. I recommend it.

Ok, I will be honest, I was really worried when I first bought these since the pictures in the product description didn't have the word safety spelled correctly so I had some reservations about how these were made. I was surprised about the number of them in the box, how thick they were, the size, and how well they last. I get the unflavored ones and the dogs don't seem to mind! However, I'm not quite ready to try them myself to rate the flavor so, hopefully, my 4-star rating on behalf of the dogs is accurate :) My 16 year old border collie gets quite excited when the box arrives! He loves these! The sizes of the pieces are pretty consistent and they are thick, not paper thin like some brands are. I have border collies and larger collie mix dogs so having bigger rawhide chips is a plus! They are also pretty aggressive chewers, these last pretty well. The rawhide chips/strips are tied together in the bag with plastic stripping like what you secure heavy items onto a pallet. The strapping is kind of weird and a bit annoying when you are trying to give the dogs a distraction quickly. The bags are not resealable which isn't so much of an issue in a dry climate like I'm in (UT) however, moving to a hot and humid state in the future, I will need to invest in a food-safe plastic tote to keep these in the pantry so they don't go bad. I think these are great value for money, especially when compared to pet-store retail. I have 4 dogs so food, treats, and chews take a decent portion of the monthly budget so, buying in bulk saves those pennies, and these are great to use as a reward after training or when my pups go into their crate. Rawhide chips have been great to help with cleaning teeth, our newest rescue dog even though he's young (around 2-4 years) his teeth look about the same as my old border collie! His teeth are starting to look better now with these chews. I don't let my dogs chew them when they get too small, and they only get them after a meal. One of my dogs is notorious for barfing bones back up on an empty stomach and some rawhide does it too but, having these after a meal has been ok.

Nice thick chews. I have very small dogs, and one of these will last for months, and I don’t have to worry about them choking on the bits.

I can’t believe how GREAT this product has been for my little Yorkie! First of all, it’s affordable. This is a big deal to me because dog treats have gotten expensive and don’t last very long. This treat is BOTH cheaper AND lasts WAY longer than anything else I have bought. One piece lasts her weeks! My puppy is just under a year old and is very curious and active. I am busy and was feeling guilty for not playing with her more, even though I give her lots of attention, it never seems to be enough. I realized that I needed something more to keep her occupied and THIS IS IT! I didn’t realize how BIG these would be, but she LOVES the size, like she has won a big prize. This keeps her occupied for hours and she seems to almost go into a flow state chewing on it. There seems to be a big pushback against rawhide for some reason, but I’ve tried a munch of alternatives and they don’t last. It has been great! It seems healthy and natural.
