Feels like an upgrade to your memory of a favorite childhood backpack
Something about this bag just hits right. Usually nostalgia colors your perception and you can't really get the same feeling, but as soon as I opened the box, this bag made me feel like I had found my old favorite backpack again even though it doesn't look the same. Whoever designed this loved their backpack in school and made this for other people who also loved theirs. Now that I'm an adult and I can buy whatever I want, it's weird how good this bag feels. I would buy this again in a heartbeat, rather than one of the million black shiny sleek modern rolled up trash bag things people carry these days. The inside feels sturdy and satisfying with all the hidden pockets and sleeves and nylon, but the outside has this perfect old school canvas that I can't wait to still love in 10 or 15 years once I drop it and spill stuff on it a few hundred times. Right out of the box it already looks relaxed and holds a ton of stuff while not being huge. Zippers are easy to manage with nice pull tabs, straps are padded and squishy, and the bag space is bottomless even though it appears average size. I'm carrying a 15" laptop, large over-ear headphones, 3 power cables, notebook, pens, 2 large calculators, deodorant, cologne, medication, tylenol, sunglasses, and a paperback novel. Not a single pocket is full, I could add plenty more if I had to. This bag feels so good Im looking at Fjallraven jackets and hats now too. Nobody paid me for this review, I spent 120 bucks on it and Im happy about it.

Great for travel
I love this bag. Ordered it for an extended trip to the Philippines where it was subjected to heat, salt water, and rain. Kept my stuff protected from the elements. Perfect size as a day bag, and carry on. Lots of useful places to store all your travel stuff with peace of mind. Loved the color, and it was comfortable, always. I know its going to last me a lifetime.

Excellent backpack for work
This has been an excellent work backpack for nearly a year for me. It's very durable, has lots of pockets, and the zippers are all going strong. If I bike to work it's still comfortable and doesn't cause any chafing, and I don't typically get massive sweat spots wearing it. It comfortably fits under the seat in front of me on an airplane. It fits my fairly large work backpack easily. Highly highly recommend.

Well made, thoughtful details
This is sturdy and tough, with lots of pockets and compartments to stay organized. I paired this backpack with a set of zippered canvas pouches to further organize the large compartments, and I'm very happy with it. I routinely carry both an iPad pro and a laptop, and this holds both easily. If you get the black, done expect perfect jet black for long - this picks up dust and fuzzies and shows its wear over time. I don't mind my tools showing some wear, but if you're a neat and tidy, prim and proper type who wants perfect clean black always, this is not for you. No points against, as I don't think that's the goal. Zippers feel durable and function easily without undoing themselves. I'm a big guy, 6'1" and 275, and this is very comfortable to wear, although my wife says it looks slightly small on me. I don't really care how it looks, as I'm a function first kind of guy.

Great quality
Bought for student uses, and it really is a great backpack. It's been used for long days, sunny and rainy days, and traveling days. I don't know if I'd buy it again, but I don't regret buying it at all. It has many pockets and can store a large capacity of books, laptops, and smaller items. Here are some of my notes after consistently using it for a year: - There's three large compartments and 5 zippers. One for a laptop, one for the main storage (books and whatnot), and one for smaller items with pockets (pencils, cables, thin books). The other two zippers are the small pocket in the front (perfect for keys, wallet and phone storage) and one fleece lined pocket that's perfect for a pair of glasses (between laptop and main compartment). The amount of zippers have made it a hassle to open the right one when I need it. - The bag falls forward all the time because of the curved bottom. It cannot stand upright, but I just lean it forward on objects instead - Great for overnight travel! The different zippers can separate clothes, personal items and smaller essentials, smaller water bottles, and bulky books. Can pack for two days with toiletries. - The straps are firm (even after a year of use), so I wouldn't recommend wearing for long periods of time - Perfect personal item on planes. Have passed through TSA with many airlines and there hasn't been one time where I've had to make it a carry on instead - Has been in sun and rain, I'd describe as water resistant, as the material can get slightly damp but mostly rejects water and the black is still strong after long periods in the sun

Excellent pack
This bag kind of looked small to me but it fit a 16 inch laptop just fine. It is actually pretty roomy. It is high quality and looks great.

Great quality!
I absolutely love this backpack! Amazing capacity but still small enough to not feel like a backpacker! Great for work and travel. The color is amazing too!

Good capacity and comfortable
This is more or less a first impression. I will update the review if I remember. The primary use of this backpack is to haul around my large 17" mobile workstation (basically a huge laptop) for work, my lunch, a rain jacket, laptop accessories and some other gadgets for everyday use. My mode of transportation is my own car. The previous bag I used was a Timbuk2 Command messenger bag that I still like but the laptop compartment was too small, overall capacity was too small to fit all my stuff and it has way too much padding and compartments. For the new backpack, I want something stylish, and minimalist but space efficient. I live in Arizona so I don't need something that is super waterproof. Budget is around $120 and under. I got this at a discount on Amazon just under $100 out the door. It definitely have less features than backpacks by (i.e.) The North Face and Osprey, but it definitely have just enough compartments and mesh pockets to help keep things organized. It also lacks the sternum strap and waist straps. I thought I'd miss the sternum strap but I don't since I walk around on this backpack probably less than 3 minutes a day (normally). I did wear it around the house doing various chores for about 30 minutes and I have no complain. The style is conservative and minimalist which is great as a work backpack. The cloth it used is kind of like mix of cotton canvas and nylon so it feels softer than most other backpacks out there. The material does distress a little like waxed canvas of olden days and it's not a defect. The most impressive feature is the capacity. I am able to fit a big box of Kleenex (the rectangular ones), a roll of new kitchen towels, my sandwich box and a rain jacket in the box. I have a pair of safety goggles in the top compartment as well. It surely holds a lot compares to its external size.
