La Puta y La Ballena

A really sad film for a young girl who had overconfidence in herself and ended up diseased and broken. In contrast to the usual happy ending, her boyfriend abandoned her to the shady people she liked to associate herself with. There are girls like her in the real life who end up paying heavy price for the thrills.

I love it! I try getting this movie for so long, the actors are amazing, the whole cast is very good, and the story make you stay in your seat. Great movie and awesome views of the last part of South America, "La Patagonia".

I have been waiting about 3 years to find this movie in DVD, having seen snippits of it on one of the movie channels at that time. I still don't grasp the story entirely, and will continue to try to define it, but the visual impression is profound. I am very pleased with puchasing the DVD.

Excellent non commercial movie! Grown up girls plot. Highly recommended.

Excellent film!

This story is very deep. I became emotionally involved in the lives of each character. I was struck by how a young woman who is so free with herself can become a victim of others. The combining of the present and the past was done with much effort and very successfully. The scenes of sex and nudity blend well with the theme and were so real that I see no reason for being offended. The scenery, whales, and music were an added plus.
