Oven Mate Oven Cleaning Kit 500ml

I was not expecting such a good result! I had not cleaned my oven properly for years but this product got every bit of black burnt on coating off the racks and the base of my cooker. It completely cleared the glass panels of the doors too. It took some patience to spread the gel on the wire racks thoroughly but there were just a few areas that I needed to put a second brush on and rub. I left it on over night by the kitchen sink placing the racks on plastic sheeting. As the gel works the burnt substance seems to turn to sticky brown goo and fall off! The gloves and arm protectors were strong enough to to stand pulling on and off several times and there was no smell. Obviously a highly corrosion be substance which must be handled with care but extremely effective. Recommend highly for ease of use and results. God price cuts snickering I only used half the bottle.

What a fantastic product. My oven works very hard and unfortunately, I had failed to give it the regular deep clean it required and I'm ashamed to say that it got so bad that it changed colour from a beautiful ceramic grey, to black - and I'm not kidding. I hated all that scrubbing and mess. I used to put a bowl of steaming water in the oven and top it up just to loosen the top coat before scrubbing. I dreaded it. So, I looked around and decided there must be a product out there that can help and after some internet research, I settled for this product. I only wish I'd taken before and after photos because with very little effort (just some waiting - 2 hours), I wiped the product off with a wet sponge and buffed with kitchen towel and it was like new again. I did apply a second coat to a few stubborn areas and waited an extra half hour but they came away effortlessly. Check your manufacturers instructions in case you are not sure as to whether this product can be used on your oven but having said that, my Bosch 3D air oven instructed that I only use Bosch approved cleaning products. Oven Mate worked well - no damage and no residual smell. The only problem I have now is that I don't want to use my oven because it looks beautiful!

Fantastic stuff! This cleaner really works. My oven was absolutely filthy, in fact it was so filthy I was toying with the idea of getting a new one since it is over 10 years old, it also had a bad control knob on one of the rings. The shelves were black with oil and carbon where it had burnt on. These were a breeze to do. I painted this cleaner on them and left for an hour. After that, they just washed off in warm soapy water and looked like new. I then tackled the oven which filled me with dread. I coated all of the inside with the cleaner and left it overnight. I had to agitate it a bit by scraping and adding more cleaner but after a couple of goes, it now looks like new inside! As I say, my oven was very very bad! One thing to note, don't get it on your skin, it will blister! You also need to wear eye protection, this stuff is vicious! All in all, an excellent buy!

Came without the gloves but did have the sleeve protectors so I can only assume they removed the gloves for Covid repurposing? It's a very simple to use product, just paint it on really but keep your skin protected. It got most of the gunk off but certainly not 100%. I gave it 3 passes in the end but I'm still not completely clean. It says complete cleaning in 1 pass but not a chance. I gave it 3 hours but it's possible to leave it all night. Problem is with no gloves I needed to be super careful so I'm not completely satisfied but it is an awful lot better.

Always work . The best wouldn’t use anything else

After avoiding cleaning our grim oven for as long as possible I finally gave in. We moved into our house and the oven had been left in a terrible state. I read the reviews and thought it was worth a go. The gel is easy to apply and doesn’t have any horrible odours. After applying I left for 3 hours then wiped it out. The results were very good but still not clean so I have applied 3 more times to get it to its best. The amount of dirt was unbelievable and the ease of cleaning was great. Won’t ever have a dirty oven again because with such ease I will use it every couple of months to keep it nice. Going to do the trays, looking forward to seeing the results.

La boite en carton contient un flacon (500ml) de produit sous forme de gel, une brosse d'application avec un bout à peigne souple et l'autre à poils durs, une paire de gants acrylique (bien pensé pour les personnes allergiques au latex) et une paire de manchons aux bords élastiques pour protéger les bras ou les manches. Le mode d'emploi (sur le carton et sur le flacon) est en anglais. Il explique que le produit doit être appliqué en fonction de l'état de saleté: résidu épais = plus de gel et temps d'application prolongé (toute une nuit si nécessaire). Il faut protéger les surfaces de travail sur lesquelles on dépose les grilles pendant le nettoyage, et éviter les écoulements et les éclaboussures. Première impression très positive: l'application du produit est vraiment facile et surtout sans fumée ni odeur nocives. J'ai appliqué le gel sur une grille de barbecue couverte de couches de graisse épaisse et de sauce brûlée (été 2016!). J'ai préféré déposer la grille sur un grand sac poubelle ouvert en deux, et je l'ai recouverte pendant que le gel faisait son (mon?) travail. J'ai versé un peu de gel dans un récipient en verre et j'ai appliqué avec la brosse fournie. Le gel est épais et reste sur les parois sans couler ni glisser. La brosse permet une application précise et évite le gaspillage. J'ai rincé à l'eau après 30 minutes et toute la graisse a disparu avec l'eau de rinçage! Pas besoin de frotter ni de gratter, et la grille était toute propre. C'était tellement impressionnant et facile que j'ai décidé de nettoyer les plaque du four, couvertes par endroits de taches de graisse incrustées qu'il m'était impossible d'enlever. Une couche de gel sur toute la surface, 30 minutes plus tard et après un rinçage à l'éponge, les plaques sont comme neuves: toutes les taches incrustées ont été dissoutes! Plus de graisse de coude et plus de produits nocifs dans la cuisine... Je recommande sans aucune hésitation. La facilité d'application et les résultats sont vraiment impressionnants!

Very effective product.

J'en ai essayé des produits pour four mais comme celui là jamais. Son efficacité est redoutable et vraiment sans frotter : un gel à badigeonner au pinceau. Laisser agir. Coup d'éponge et c'est propre, décrassé. Tout ce qui est brûlé, incrusté, qui a résisté à tous les produits et pulvérisé et sans odeur. Un flacon convient pour 2-3 nettoyages. Livré avec des gants et des manchettes de protection, ceux-ci ne sont pas là pour faire beau ! Le produit contient de la soude caustique à une concentration de près de 30%. La moindre goutte sur la peau brûle ; je n'ose imaginer les yeux. En tous cas ici c'est essayé et adopté.

Très bonne produit qui nettoie le four/bbq comme neuf. J’ai bien apprécié les manches en plastique pour protéger les bras et la brosse pour bien mettre le produit dans les coins difficiles.
