These dolls are awsome I just found out about them. Watched all the episodes they remind me of how bratz use to be like with spicy drama. Even began collecting them 5 on a shelf one more coming in by mail. I can't get enough of childhood wonder it gives me having a fashion mermaid doll with long soft hair to style away. I wish sleep over line was release as well but I will buy what I got online and hope they continue with this doll line.

This would certainly be a 'wow' gift for any child as Crystabella the high fashion mermaid doll arrives in a large and very attractive cardboard and plastic box; be warned that she is very securely fastened into the box, which I find is often the case with toys these days (and so an adult is needed to supervise the removal of the item). As other reviewers have commented, Crystabella is a combination of a Barbie doll (similar size) and an LOL doll (being very heavily made up and very glamourous in look and accessories). The other unique selling points is that the mermaid tail can change colour to a nice ombre effect -- probably best to only do this is a shallow bowl of cold water rather than submerge her completely as you will likely ruin her beautifully coiffured hair and clothes. Her tail also has glitter that moves in a liquid -- it looks well-constructed and not likely to leak. There are also a good number of accessories including items to wear and hold; she also comes with a stand to display her when not being played with. She looks and feels a quality product and so I am happy to recommend from this viewpoint. However, she is currently retailing for £42.99, which seems a little pricey (although I know that Barbie dolls with accessories are not cheap either and she is comparable in quality), but I would prefer for it to be under £30.

This doll/figurine has a striking look to it. Personally, I prefer dolls to be a bit ‘cuter’ in the face; this character looks rather austere and maybe a little cold - not really ‘cuddly’ - but then she is a mermaid and so why shouldn’t she look mystical and mythical? Certainly a lot of kids find the myth of mermaids attractive and this character looks the part, with her long flowing locks and tail. There are lots of additional features and accessories with this mermaid; jewellery, sunglasses, a winter coat for her to wear. She has a handbag and make-up accessories to go in it (though I’ve never really imagined mermaids wearing handbags!) Lots of things for a child to arrange and dress her up with. The mermaid’s hips and tail are made of transparent plastic filled with a liquid which has a lot of glittery star/flower shapes in it that flow around in the liquid when you move her - like a snow globe effect. Finally, the transparent fin at the end of her tail changes colour according to temperature. As well as articulated joints, the figure/doll has lots to keep young hands and minds occupied in the fantasy world of mermaids. There’s also a stand to hold her upright as a display (since she doesn’t have feet to do it herself!)

I decided to pick up this doll from the Mermaze Mermaidz Winter Waves collection for my niece's birthday a few weeks back & she absolutely loved it. Being part of the "Winter" collection makes these dolls a perfect gift idea with Christmas right around the corner. There's five dolls in the Winter Waves collection to pick from but i personally went for the CRYSTABELLA doll. In the beautifully presented box you get the main doll & a few added accessories. For the CRYSTABELLA doll there's an additional jacket, handbag, glasses, mug, laptop & some make up items but each of the dolls across the whole Mermaze Mermaidz range have their own unique set of accessories for each doll which are all interchangeable between dolls so you can mix & match their outfits & styles. Each doll also has a unique colour changing, glitter filled tail which i thought was pretty cool too. Overall i was really happy with it but most importantly so was my niece. Apparently she's already seen a few of the Mermaidz episodes on YouTube before hand because she instantly knew what it was as soon as she started opening the the wrapping paper.

Beautiful doll, definitely worth it if bought on sale. Shame that the tail is not atriculated, so she can't even sit.

Voy a dar mi punto de vista siendo una persona adulta coleccionista de muñecas, me parece una muñeca que es preciosa completamente, es muy bonita de cara y tiene un pelo muy suave, bonito y con mucha cantidad, yo no lo mojaría porque no me interesa, tal cual como venia en la caja para mí es perfecto. Algo que no me gusta es que la cabeza se le inclina hacia los lados por el peso del pelo, eso es mejorable. Sin duda la movilidad no es su punto fuerte por eso quizá no lo recomendaría para niños, ya que ellos a la hora de jugar las quieren mover mucho más. Por 10€ que está rebajada ha sido un regalazo y sin duda después de ver la calidad compraré más. Incluye una peana la cual es perfecta para ella porque podemos verla completa como muestro en las fotos. Espero que no dejen de fabricar esta línea de muñecas, tienen un molde de cara precioso y podrían innovar haciéndoles también un cuerpo con piernas y articulado. Sin duda volveré a comprar más!

Franchement, pour le prix c est vraiment de très très bonne qualité. Ma fille a une trentaine de poupée style rainbow ou LOL mais celle-ci est top ! allez y les yeux fermés je recommande +++
