Great kit for budding scientist
What a great kit for just over 6 pounds, was great for us during isolation. The creepy tree looks beautiful and grows within hours so you see the effect same day. The brighter your pens the more vibrant your tree and remember to colour both sides of branches so they match. We put this out the way as if knocked or touch the crystals fall off. The other two experiments are taking their time to grow which is fine as its something we can check on now and again. The ones in the round bottle are looking fabulous fabulous the bottle magnifies what is inside. Not sure about the limestone crystal yet, it looks like a creepy growth at the minute. However it is interesting all the same. Great kit full of facts and advice within the instructions.

Creepy crystals โค๏ธ
This box has 3 experiments you can do to create different type of crystals. All need a few additional items, which can be easily sourced but to avoid disappointment Thinking everything is including in the box, I would read the instructions before u planned to to the experiment so you know you have them at home. We only did 2 which were really fun to do. I think all age children and even adults will enjoy these experiments. The tree one is absolutely beautiful! Looks like crystals but to touch itโs soft itโs really fascinating! When colouring the branches use high pigmented feltips pens and colour well, this will definitely give stronger colour on the crystals when they brunch out. And also make sure to colour both sides. The second experiment was the bottle crystal one whivh is really very pretty. Does take some time to prepare but worth the fun. Institutions are easy to follow. I would highly recommend this! My 9 year old son loves it!

Awesome little science experiments
what a lovely little set with lots inside to complete 3 experiments! Creepy crystal experiment where crystals start appearing on the tree within hours is by far the most exciting of all. The only downside is that the card tree gets soaked and can not stay up once the crystals are big so it fallen over at the end which was a shame as otherwise we would have kept it for a bit longer but ended up throwing away after 2 days hence the 4 stars! but my 6 and 3 year old loved the process and the instructions that go with it are really easy to follow and very kid friendly!

Great product, homeschool science made simple.
We started the experiments this weekend and saw quick results from the tree and signs of growth with in the orb bottle. By the morning after both were looking good and my children were both very excited with the progress. I canโt comment on the third experiment yet but it does say that itโs the slowest and can take a few weeks so.. weโll see! All in all I think itโs a great kit, reasonably priced and all you need to provide is a little vinegar for one of the the experiments. ๐

Cheap but dissapointing
I had been looking forward to doing this kit with my daughter. Initially I was pleased to find more than just the tree included inside, in fact there were 3 experiments included. However the writting on the instructions is written in a pale orange colour making it very difficult to read, when you do manage it is informative and engaging but hard going just to see it. The tree itself is small and basic and ours didn't work at first leaving my daughter disappointed, after some messing about we managed to get it absorbing the liquid and some crystal's started to form. Unfortunately we left ours near a doorway and every time someone walked past more and more crystals fell off, to be fair had this not happened the result would have been more what we expected but ours was not very impressive. The experiment in the bottle seemed promising but stopped developing very quickly leaving a few small shards. We have not done bothered with the 3rd experiment. Overall we were left a little disappointed in this kit and I wouldn't buy it again.

Microwave among other things required
Description didn't state that a microwave is required for this experiment and we don't have one. We've done many crystal growing experimenting in the past and this is the first time a microwave is required along with much more little bits and pieces like containers , malt vinegar, felt tip pens...
