This is brilliant, easy to install and within seconds it had collected a load of sun cream scum. Cannot fault it and it's actually mesmerising to watch! Great value as well.

Excellent product and idea especially for flies and dog hair in the height of summer that hasn't sunk yet to the bottom.. I bought this for that reason and of course did not work with the standard 330 gph pump you get with most pool kit's.. So you will need to upgrade your pump.. Myself I bought a 1500gph pump for a 10 feet pool.. As the skimmer needs bottom pressure to suck on the debris basket to then skim the water.. And collect the surface debris.. It will not clean the bottom of the pool so you would still need and bottom pool cleaner that plugs onto a hose pipe.. I write this review as information on set up for the skimmer was difficult.. I hope this review helps other's..

Bought this for my pond as its considerably cheaper than a pond skimmer. Bit bright but I'll soon hide it. Brackets seem well made but I'm not using them. Works brilliantly!

The product itself basically works but you need a decent strong pump. The ones that come with the pools aren't strong enough to do anything useful... I upgraded the pump and it makes a huge difference. This thing did collect a puddle of pretty disgusting looking water around it which I guess showed it was doing something but nothing was actually caught in the basket. It keeps floating up because the clamps just won't hold it under the water which causes the pump to collect air instead of water... Probably likely to damage the pump if it's left running for a long time pulling air through! All in all, it doesn't do the job well enough to justify the cost. Just get a pool net and a good pump to filter. This just isn't worth the cost IMO. If you do want to try it, put a brick in the bottom to keep it weighed down, but don't expect it to do much 🤷‍♂️

This is an absolute waste of time. It won't stay in the pool no matter how tightly you screw it to the frame. It just floats sideways on the surface. Don't waste your time

This is a brilliant product but it does have its flaws, for instance if your pool is just a tad too shallow the filter lifts at an angle making it inadequate, also I would recommend getting the socks for it as the wholes are too big for the normally debris that is on the surface, the other issue is the size of the item, it is a lot bigger than the picture makes it look, which can make it an issue depending on the size of the pool. But for the price it's good value for money.

Hätte nicht gedacht, dass es wirklich funktioniert. Läuft sehr gut. Ich empfehle dazu noch Skimmer Socken zu kaufen. Die kleinen Sachen fließen durch die löcher durch.

Keeps my pool spotlessly clean on the surface

If you don't fill pool to within a foot of the top then this is useless. The extension arm extends maybe 15cm but it'd be great if it more. Also, the height should be able to float otherwise it needs adjusting as water level rises an inch or lowers an inch.

Ho acquistato lo skimmer di superficie Intex per la mia piscina fuori terra da circa 13.000 litri ed è stato un vero cambiamento nella gestione quotidiana dell’acqua. Fin dal primo utilizzo ho notato la differenza: tutto lo sporco che prima galleggiava in superficie (foglie, insetti, polvere) ora viene raccolto immediatamente, evitando che si depositi sul fondo e riducendo drasticamente la necessità di aspirare o passare il retino. Il risultato è una piscina che rimane pulita molto più a lungo, con meno manutenzione e meno lavoro. L’installazione è stata rapidissima: si monta in pochi minuti agganciandolo alla parete e collegandolo alla pompa della piscina, e da quel momento fa tutto lui in completa autonomia. La qualità è buona, la vaschetta è capiente e facile da svuotare, e il funzionamento è costante e regolare anche con pompe non particolarmente potenti. Per il prezzo che ha, è uno degli accessori più utili che abbia mai aggiunto alla mia piscina. In conclusione, se avete una piscina fuori terra e volete ridurre lo sporco e la manutenzione, questo skimmer Intex è una soluzione semplice, efficace e che fa la differenza fin dal primo utilizzo.
