In my opinion this is better than frosted glass and much cheaper. The rooms are as bright as is I’m not using the film and it gives total privacy. It was easy to apply although we did it was a team of 2. Clean the windows, dry them, cut the film, spray water onto the film and then two of us positioned the film on the panes. We then used a squeezey to push out any air pockets. It wasn’t hard or time consuming and it’s stayed up well. A neighbour who’s just spent a fortune on new blinds commented that they wish they had bought some of this film instead. Obviously if you wish to look out of the window you'd need to remove the film, which would be more hassle than blinds. But it’s perfect for what we needed.

This is the 3rd roll that I buy. I first bought it some years ago to use on a rented house for privacy. I'm now renting a flat and decided to buy it again. I am not the most patient person in the world and perhaps I lack the skills but I find it a bit challenging to attach it on my own, I feel like 2 hands are not enough. It's doable but ended up with tiny bubbles which could perhaps be prevented but I ran out of patience. When I have another set of hands for help, there are no bubbles left, but it still takes effort to make sure it's straight. The corners are a pain in the rear as they don't seem to stick on the glass properly but it's hardly noticeable. I love the end result anyway and I absolutely love the thickness and texture of it. It gives great privacy without losing brightness. I bought it before, bought it again and will definitely continue buying it in the future.

Great black out film for keeping out light if working night duty & when nights stay light for longer. Best to have 2 people to apply, it goes on well (clean window first, dry with paper towel to collect chemical residue before spraying with water, for best results). Once on, it can easily be removed when not needed & does not damage the window.

It somewhat works. However please be aware that this makes your house constantly dark. It feels like your house is constantly at 4:30pm in December when it is starting to get dark. Doesn't matter how sunny/bright it is outside, you will still have no sunlight coming in. I have had to sit with lights and lamps on all day meaning that people can now see into the house from outside as its bright inside. I have always had some form of mirror film on my windows and yes it does make it slightly darker but this is very strong stuff. It is super easy to install, but I will be removing and replacing with something not to dark as I feel like i'm living in a morgue due to how dark and depressing its made my house feel.

Good window film that adds privacy and reduces glare. Once installed it works well and gives the window a nice reflective finish. It does take some time to cut and fit perfectly, so a bit of patience is needed during installation. Once in place though it looks good and does the job well.

Extremely disappointed and very cross that there is no option to get my £25 back as once the film is taken off, the item cannot be returned. I bought the one way film as my front door is mostly glass and I live on the ground floor so I always need to have blinds down for privacy. Being housebound and barely able to walk, I was very much looking forward to be able to see outside. I opted for the silver option which suposedly gives a natural light. The result was an dreary, depressing effect that instantly darkened the room and was frankly quite tricky to install on a fairly large area. I had previously bought the etched product from this company which was a great. This one way film however is an absolute waste of money!

Easy to installation and good privacy.

So i got two rolls of this, first the colour its not the same as the photo more like a rose gold its very pretty. Putting it on wasnt as hard as I thought, but I have one large window and it will just not stay put on that window, I have it in 4 other smaller windows and its stayed put, but the biger your window it seems less lively to say put. Its fallen off multiple times and iv replied it multiple times its now damaged from it coming off, im not willing to get another roll for ut to just not stick. im gutted coz it is really pretty up and stops my creepy neighbour coming standing in my window looking at me.

Super easy to install came with all the tools that I needed. It really does work well you can see outside. Nobody can see it except for at night time if your lights are on then they can see in your trailer. It does keep the heat down very well.

Not 100% privacy inside or out. It is very hard to see from the outside in with the mirror but if you come up close enough to the glass you can see inside a small amount during the day. It does seem to block a lot of heat out so if you're looking for that this is definitely going to be good for that. I have apartments across from me so I'm trying to get a little bit of privacy from my sliding doors. If you look at the one picture you can see that it's clear to see my daughter's Toy Box in front of the window from outside with the film on. And you can also see that my light on the ceiling is on.

This film isn't mirror enough. You can see right through it.
