Slice and Bake Wooden Cookie Play Food Set

Lovely little wooden 'cooking set' to go in my niece's play kitchen - a baking tray just like mummy's, a wooden knife and spatula and 12 cookies with velcro attachable toppings. You can store the cookies in the dough roll and use the gingham oven glove when putting the tray in and out the oven! Lovely quality, good paint finish, nice colours; there's really nothing to criticise in this, apart from maybe the cookie roll could be more durable. It's great for imaginative play. I bought this set for a 2 year old, despite it being graded 3+ years as it will be used with Mum's supervision and the pieces are rather large - I don't know that a toddler could actually get one in their mouth, let alone jammed in their throat. But as they can be tenacious little beings, it's always better to be safe than sorry, so it will be supervised. Just want to mention that I chose this particular set because the pieces are bigger than some of these cooking sets you can buy, which would cause me more concern.

Bought for my granddaughters birthday as an extra to go with her wooden kitchen. She was delighted with it. Played with it for ages. Loved that she will get years of use out of it as my other5 year old granddaughter played with it also. Great product. Well worth the money. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter was given this when she was about 2 as a present and she loves it so much I bought it as a present for a friend's child. It is very well made with a lot of parts (not in a bad way) and very intuitive for small people with small hands to use in their imaginative play. the 'cookie' piece has Velcro used to attach the 'icing' piece and to attach it to the 'baking tray'. All the cookie pieces can be stuck together as a tube and then cut up with the knife, organised on the tray with the icing added. There is a oven glove and spatula too, so they can go in and out of pretend ovens. And then there is a cardboard tube for the cookies to be stored in once cool and finish. The variations on this are endless, and of course the parts can be used as general part of cooking play. Over 2 years this has consistently been one of her most used toys! A tiny word of warning - it may go without saying, but the over glove is not suitable for use with a real oven, and is so realistic that a child may be need to be persuaded of this fact. Have fun.

Really good items they look amazing however I was missing three cookies and the toppers. I managed to get a partial refund and ordered a new set to complete it. Still fantastic quality.

This is a lovely gift to complement my toddlers kitchen. It's very smart, durable and easy to use. My toddler enjoys taking all the toppings off, stacking the biscuits and laying them back out again. The velcro is strong and will last well but is still easy for young hands to navigate well. Lovely bright colours and great value for money.

This is so cute! Contains everything you would need for the ultimate pretend cookie baking experience. Sturdy, colourful and provides hours of entertainment! My three year old loves to cut the dough, add the toppings and bake them in his little oven - which only he can touch because it’s ‘very hot’ but luckily he has the trusty oven glove they include! - and then we all have to sit and have a biscuit with our cup of tea. Fantastic for encouraging imaginative play!

This was an absolutely loved gift for a three year old. She was over the moon to receive it and started ‘baking’ immediately! This is fun and sturdy and colourful. The presentation is beautiful- perfect for a gift. The quality is so good that it can easily passed down through the generations - teeth marks and all. And best bit is when the wee one decides they’d like to make real cookies they can actually eat - all you need to do is buy a ready made slice and bake chilled cookie dough from the shop and they’ll be thrilled it’s just like theirs. 😂

My daughter and her brothers love this baking set and so do I. I like the fact it is wood and so special among her other plastic food. It has lots of use from all 3 of my children. It is good quality and will last. The velcro means the icing sits on the biscuits and the biscuits sit on the tray but it is not too strong that they can't remove it themselves. The glove and wooden spatula and knife are lovely as is the tube to put them in although being cardboard this has got a little bent but once the lid is on it straightens itself out.

Como todo lo de esta marca, juguete de madera muy bonito, buena calidad. Las galletas se unen con velcro para después cortarlas. Los tamaños son perfectos para niños. La bandeja también lleva velcro para poner las galletas y nada se caiga. Viene la bandeja, guante, galletas, toppings, cuchillo, espátula y el envase para guardar las galletas.

The item was delivered within a day and on a Sunday too. Amazed at the quick turnaround My friend's 4 yr old daughter who has a cooking bug loves it and plays with it all the time. Gave the product 4 stars and not 5 because, the Velcro came off a couple of cookies within 10 days (recommend reinforcing the Velcro with some quick glue before letting the kids play). Also, the paint can chip off easily if put in the mouth / chewed by kids.
