Huang in Tech Support, however, answered immediately, explaining that they strongly recommend purchasing a transformer that supplies at least 2x your power requirements, and included the snapshot of their product recommendations. That meant it was my fault that I burned out the first transformer. Instead of leaving it at that, however, which they had the right to do, Huang offered to refund me the first purchase if I was interested in paying the cost difference to the higher 3000W model that I needed. Obviously, that is exactly what I was interested in, and so I took the offer, purchased the new model, got a refund immediately, and am powering all of my appliances again, but correctly this time!
