It is still drying but you can see that the furthest cupboard away has dried perfectly fine. It feels exactly as it did before the wax went on, once its dried and theres no grease left. I used a sponge and it took 30 mins to do 7 cupboard doors, 5 drawers and 2 doors. Ive used less that 1/4 of the tin so it goes really really far and so easy to use. Prior to the wax I used the rustelm paint which I would also recommend. Its completely transformed my kitchen. As the wax is drying it does look slightly patchy but after two hours it is completely even and looks great. There is no yellow marks as some other reviewers have written, the wood has dried exactly the same colour as before.

It gives a nice finish but I think the tin was already opened and the item was used before it was sent to me. It wasn't *half* empty but there was quite a bit of gap between the lid and the level of the wax. Additional to that, the lid was extremely easy to open (it was just pushed down and taped...), which makes me think the item was used+returned before being sent to me. Nevertheless I used it on three different pieces of furniture (1 small, 2 medium items) and still have half the amount of wax than the original amount left (again, not half the tin but the original amount). The finish is definitely nice and natural and as others have already mentioned, I think a cloth works so much better (I used an old cotton tshirt). I had to do a few coats until I got the shine I wanted but I think this is fairly normal. I wish I had taken before and after pics! Overall, I am happy and did not bother to return the item since I knew I wouldn't have needed all of it for my DIY project.

Brilliant furniture wax, yes it has a smell (gave me a headache) I'm susceptible to that happening though. The smell soon faded and the furniture has good protection and the paint colour has nice lustre now. It works well and looks great.

This is my second pot to be purchased. I am very impressed with the quality. You need to have it at room temperature and then it goes on to the furniture easily. Leave for 10 minutes and then it buffs up lovely. It leaves a little bit of a shine and you can really feel the difference after applying as the wood is much smoother & protected. I bought it as an alternative to the Annie Sloan as I had a lot to shabby chic. I used the same brand chalk paint and am happy with the results. I would 100% recommend. The wax does have an odour when applying, I used a fan whilst working and the odour was gone within 30 minutes. The wax does go a long way. If you want an extra shine just repeat the proces after buffing the first time.
