Original Wayfarer RB2140

These are lovely. They are genuine as far as I can see. They have a really solid weight to them also. I bought the 54 size. I don't think they are as big as some reviews say. I don't have a large face/ head, just an average oval shape female face and they look fine, they fit well I think, but we're all different so you decide. I'd say definitely unisex. Feels like a good quality pair of shades but have serious concerns as the text on the inside of one of the arms is totally illegible. It should read made in italy, << I would like to Add after some thought my humble opinion is these Shades are genuine Raybands, but possibly repackeged seconds with some miner defect in text that doesn't affect the function or asthetics of the shades. A Good deal at a good price

Arrived quickly in a lovely leather case, the glass are genuine and fit nicely on the face. The lenses of the Original Wayfarers, as opposed to the New Wayfarers, point outwards which gives, in my opinion, a cooler and more recognisable appearance. This means I would strongly advise buying the original Ray-Bans rather than saving £20 or so and getting the New Wayfarers. The frame is sturdy and vision is crystal clear - even without polarised lenses. A MUST buy for the summer and at a great price too!

Classic....and although expensive they are good quality and still stylish.

Wanted a pair of sunglasses that I enjoyed in the 80's. These are the real deal. Quality product, comfortable, perfect fit. Great price. These have the famous Wayfarer slant. They will last forever. Very pleased.

These Ray Bans are definitely not fake as some of these other reviews would have you believe. I will admit I was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews but I needn’t have worried. They come in a lovely authentic leather case and have the logo on the left lens. They are also stamped made in Italy along the arm. These were bought as a birthday present for my husband and most definitely didn’t disappoint.

These ray bans we're not authentic. I've been doing a lot of research on the wayfarer and could quite confidently spot a fake from a simple close up inspection, hence why I returned these back to the seller for a refund. I was after a bargain and these frames from the seller seem to be the cheapest around, especially for polarised, purely judging by the ad picture. So I took a chance and ordered them, they were delivered in about 3 days and came well packaged (better than the real ones I ordered). Removed them from the box and immediately realised they were not genuine. It's all about the details (I didn't even try them on to test the polarised lens), it was one detail in particular, the angle of the frame where the arms meet the hinges. REAL rayban 2140 Wayfarers have a 60 degree tilt but fakes will have a 90 degree angle. It used to be that you could tell real from fake with the metal prong hinge but that detail is fairly easy to replicate now. I ended up ordering a real pair (non polarised) from sunglasses shop for only £3 more and less plastic wrapping. Ps. If you are after decent fakes they're not bad, as everyone I showed them too couldn't tell the difference until I pointed it out, plus one of them owned a real pair, but at this price your having a laugh!

Double check your face measurements a small difference really affects future.

I LOVE THEM!! THEY ARE GREAT ON SUNNY DAYS, AND FIT PERFECT. I HAVE OTHER RAY BANS, AND THESE ARE BY FAR THE BEST, THE LENS IS GREAT WITH THE TINTING.
