Great tool
Does a decent job on my garden tools, already broke but that's because male friend dropped it on floor but still good to use, leaves a good sharp edge, I use an oil spray when sharpening. Happy customer

Sharpens steel like you think it would
The stone does the job a treat, unfortunately it was packed very lightly so it had broken the end off in the post. No real big deal as it was just the end. I would have sent back if slapped in half though.

Pretty average sharpening type stone
The first delivery of this item was empty - I literally recieved an empty envelope. When it did arrive, I was pretty disappointed. Firstly, it's awkward to hold and use. Secondly, it crumbles and goes everywhere. Did it sharpen my tools? I guess so, they didn't end up like razors or anything though.

Good Sharpening Stone for garden tools
I have used this stone to sharpen axes, billhook, shears and knives and it works well. One on the ones I ordered came with a bumpy surface so was not appropriate but I reported this and it was sent a new one for free. Good product
