Woodware Anti Static-Pad, Cotton, Off- White, 7 x 5 cm

This is a great little product, it makes for a really clean emboss every time, I was previously using one made of felt, I didn't realise how awful it was until I tried this one, very impressed and the quality is really good as well. It is nice and small so fits in the palm of your hand and if you use it on dark coloured card the residue powder wipes away without a trace. I would definitely recommend this item, after tapping off I don't even really need to tidy it up with a paintbrush as everything thats not meant to be there just taps off nicely. Will buy again if I need to replace it in the future.

I am quite new to crafting and card making. Having attended several workshops I was quite stunned at all the tools & accessories the other ladies owned and wasn't really sure which things I needed and which were just going to be a waste of money. So I borrowed one of these and was really impressed at how well it worked. It does help keep the pesky embossing powder on your stamped design & not randomly sprinkled over your card. I was so pleased with it that I bought a second one for my sister who had also been struggling to get clean images

Brilliant, does the job it recommended for

I absolutely love this, I use it for paper crafting as my embossing buddy. I've been embossing for years but never really enjoyed it until now. It makes embossing so much easier. No more extra powder on the card where you don't want it, spending ages trying to get rid before using your heat gun and then still having specs in places you don't want. Well this stops all that just rub it over your card before you stamp to remove the static and you'll wonder where this was all your life.

Really economical option for "anti-static" preparation of paper/cardstock for heat-embossing. There are other tools on the market but this one's really economical - it's a simple little bag made of dishcloth-y stuff filled with maybe cornflour (cornstarch for those in the USA) or an unscented baby powder - I can't tell. You simply rub it over the paper/cardstock and a tiny amount of powder is released, which binds to all greasy or damp areas and is attracted by static charges, so over all, it prevents your embossing powder (or mica or Perfect Pearls etc - loads of applications where this is going to help!) from sticking where it is not wanted - it's a really economical way to avoid messy heat-embossing. I highly recommend this - I think it's going to last me for years. Once you've finished and cooled your project you just brush off the tiny amount of powder left on it from this tool.

I like the size of this product as it makes it easy to use, the fact that it can be used for removing static and putting on extraneous bits of glue to stop other things sticking to it.

Sadly no durable packaging but apart from that it's good

this item is perfect for embossing and helping to get your paper ready to be embossed, simple wipe over your card stock or paper with the anti static pad to remove any finger prints or grease to make sure that the embossing powder sticks to where you put it in the first place and having to wast unnecessary powder you don't want to waste.
