GIRAFVINYL Black Holographic Vinyl - 12" X 10FT Rainbow Black Holographic Adhesive Permanent Vinyl for Cup, Sticker, Home and Car Decorations

I bought this for a kind of weird purpose, adding trim to the belt straps of a cosplay made fully out of this shiny pleather/vinyl material. I wasn’t entirely sure if it would work, or even if it was heat transfer vinyl or adhesive-backed vinyl, based off of the listing and reviews. But it ended up working out perfectly! It is adhesive-backed, essentially it’s a long roll of holo vinyl with a decently sticky and strong sticker backing with a plastic protective layer. There’s reviews saying it was hard to work with but personally I didn’t have any issues. Others said it was weird with cricuit machines, but I wouldn’t know as I cut mine by hand with scissors, and it was as easy as precise work on a slippery fabric like this gets. I didn’t even have many wrinkles, as it has enough stretch to pull them out while you’re sticking it down. I will say things go a lot smoother (literally lol) if you’re patient and delicate with this, as it’s in the nature of something like this to want to stick to itself and anything that touches it. As for the process, I just marked the vinyl to measure on the white back, cut strips as long as each strap I was putting it on, each 1cm wide, and slowly peeled the backing off of the adhesive (section by section) as I folded it over the edge (1/2 cm on the front, 1/2 cm on the back), sticking it in place. It added a lot to the costume, especially for so cheap and in a small handful of hours of tedious but easy/passive work. The holo effect is really pretty, the base is silver and it shifts with rainbow colors. The holographic shifts look the best in indoor lighting with just one bright light directly on it. In bright daytime lighting, it’s not as clear and looks more like a plain silver, though that’s to be expected with anything holographic. Shipping was really fast. The base Lio Fotia cosplay is from miccostumes if anyone’s curious. ^_^

Read the other reviews and was hesitant about buying, but this pattern is hard to find in PSV so I took a chance. Glad I did. It cut out perfectly, the settings had to be adjusted, lowered, the vinyl seems to be thinner. No issues with cutting...words, outlines, shapes. It sparkles so much in the sunlight. I have the same pattern in HTV but the PSV seems to be more beautiful, it sparkles more.*****Purchased for a 2nd time. I’m not sure why ppl have an issue, 2nd roll, still no issues w/cutting or weeding. Outside usage-the product details does not say outside usage ok so maybe don’t use outside. Fading from washing-we haven’t had that issue either. We’ve gifted things to friends-no complaints. Peeling after a while, w/washing. I think in all specialty vinyl I’ve tried ,all brands-opal, chrome, holographic, etc they dont last long, it’s thinner material. After a few washes, they start to peel on the ends/corners, your lose symbols. I’ll keep buying this vinyl as long as they sell the same quality. I think ppl should try, I’ve been working w vinyl for while, there are ones I hate to work with but this for ME has not been one.

I absolutely love this vinyl! I use it all the time for my Etsy shop, it's a favorite color among my buyers. It's very easy to cut and weed. The cuts are super clean and precise—perfect for small batches or large orders. I'm very happy with the quality and shimmer of this vinyl.

I loved this vinyl! I used it with my cricut joy extra. It cuts beautifully and is very thick. The color shines so bright! I had no problems with it ripping out coming off any of my projects. The adhesive is really good and I had no problems with bubbles. It may be a little more expensive than other value but it’s worth the price!

This is a great looking holographic vinyl that is easy to cut, weed, and transfer. I really like the subtle gray holographic material which is much more subdued than the usual brighter holographics. This material isn't advertised for outdoor use, but the first thing I did is cut out a sticker and put it on my car window. After a year and a half of baking in the harsh Texas and southern California sun, dealing with many, many power washings/scrubbings, and getting the occasional window washing/squeegeeing, it finally started to delaminate. I figure a year and a half lifespan for this material in that scenario isn't too terrible, but keep that in mind if you plan on using this on exteriors or harsher environments. Fortunately, it's not too expensive and easy to work with, so I have no problem with just cutting out a replacement every year and a half.

it was hard to find holographic vinyl in a decent quantity, as most sellers offer them in 15 ft rolls or less. so it was nice that you can get a 30ft roll. quality of the vinyl is great!! super sticky, used it for car decals and it works beautifully. only thing i had to be careful of, since it was so sticky, is that while weeding the design if you accidentally get some of the scraps stuck to itself its kind of difficult to peel off since the material is kind of stretchy you can easily warp/stretch the material by trying to unstick the vinyl from itself. also i cut it with a cricut maker 3, and it cuts perfectly on the permanent vinyl setting. weeds really easy too! if you have the papery kind of transfer tape (similar texture to masking tape) it didnt really stick well to the holographic vinyl. thankfully we also had clear plastic transfer tape which worked beautifully. there was a clear film which you have to remove prior to cutting on the machine, which i presume was to keep the vinyl from getting scratched until you need to use it. they also included one of those slap on bracelets to hold the roll together when storing, which is a genius idea. it was nice because they also included a 12x12" red sparkly holographic sheet as a bonus!! overall great purchase, speedy delivery (about 4-5 days) and great quality/adhesion. would recommend

Awesome! Truly holographic, amazing quality. I've used it to wrap some products and 5 years later the vinyl is still amazing!!!! It also looks so cool under different lightning. Some angles give it a beautiful blue-lilac with purple and green hues, other lightning gives it a rainbow blast, others you see more violet-orange sunset tones. It's amazing. One of my favorite things to look at decoratively. Other "holographic" vinyls are not even truly holographic but other different not-holographic themes. This is TRULY holographic, it catches the color spectrum like a genuine holographic item. Congratulations. This item is amazing, resistant, and holds up amazing to water AND very heat inside! 10/10. I will come back to you if I ever need this again and recommend it on the rare chance someone ever needs it lol.
