Is this comparable to Vata Digest?

While our Healthy Vata and Vata Digest are complementary formulas, they have different functions and energetic properties. Our Healthy Vata is a blend of herbs with heating and unctuous properties that help to restore and maintain balanced vata, while removing excess vata from the system. As vata’s agni (digestive fire) can often be intermittent or weak, our Vata Digest supports proper assimilation and absorption, while promoting intestinal calm and comfort.

When considering Ayurvedic formulas, it is important to note the overall, energetic effects like rasa (taste), virya (action) and vipaka (post-digestive effect) on the system. For best results, we recommend that you support your intentions and daily routine with appropriate dietary and lifestyle choices.

what are the benefits of taking these?

If you have a  Vata constitution this mixture of herbs will assist you in staying in balance, especially when you are not able to follow or access vata balancing foods....like when eating at restaurant or another person's cooking.  If this happens regularly, should take these herbs regularly.  Especially helpful during late fall and early winter.
