Necessary for landscape lighting.
Sunvie products are the best. These connectors are so easy to use. I have never had problems with my lights.

Very useful and easy to install
Awesome gadgets! I can’t say how many hours of work these saved me. I had to wire 23 led outdoor lights (that I converted from solar to regular power). Just ran the cable all along muy fence and then clipped these connectors.

A good value and solid connections.
These are by far, the best landscape connectors I've used. But here's a required caveat. You have to understand you're buying lightweight plastic connectors. They are easy to use, easy to install the hold the cables well - but THEY ARE PLASTIC. I feel like these were a good value and will buy these again. I'm planning on installing new lights in the front yard soon and will use these connectors. They seem to cross thread easily so I really had to pay attention when I tightened down the nuts - but again they are 'Lightweight plastic'

Good but fiddly.
They work really well but are a bit or a pain to install. The pins aren't really sharp enough to poke through the insulation easily and the compression fittings won't take solid wire or anything larger than 14g. Those are both minor and can be overcome by tightening the posts well. The resulting connections were 100% good and seem reliable. You NEED to use tools (wrench, socket, etc) to tighten the posts. If you try and do it by hand, you'll rip up the skin on your fingers!

Horrible for 12 gauge wire
Product description says it works with 12 gauge wire. Technically, the wire fits in the slots, but I strongly recommend NOT using these for 12 gauge. I very carefully and, as tightly as I could, used these. More than half of my lights didn’t have a connection. I tried multiple times and sometimes they’d work and sometimes not. I just think the wire is too thick to ensure a good, solid connection. I can’t even really tighten the plastic nuts enough to stay threaded. Finally I threw them away and used the wire nuts that came with the lights and every problem was solved. This isn’t rocket science. There connectors are quick and easy, but I’m guessing only for thinner wire.

Yes I recommend this product.
Product as described and works great! Would recommend and purchase again! Appears to be well built, easy to use, and great value for the money spent.

SUNVIE Fastlock2 Connectors – Decent for Light Work, But Struggle with Thick Wire
The SUNVIE Fastlock2 wire connectors are convenient for quick landscape lighting installs, especially with standard 12–16 gauge wire. The waterproof design and snap-lock mechanism make setup fast, and they hold up well in outdoor conditions. However, when working with thicker gauge wire (like 10 or 12 stranded), the experience becomes frustrating. The connectors feel tight and unforgiving, often requiring excessive force to close—and even then, the connection isn’t always reliable. In some cases, I had to resort to traditional wire nuts just to get a secure fit. For basic garden lighting with thinner wire, these are fine and functional. But if you're running heavier gauge for longer distances or higher loads, you may want to look elsewhere. Average performance overall, with limitations that show up quickly in more demanding setups.
