Perfect for using my steamer to get the wrinkles out. Lightweight but yet sturdy.

I was wracking my brain trying to figure out an easy and relatively cheap way to display my daughter's cap and gown at her grad party. I didn't have access to a mannequin. I don't remember how I got this idea, but it was perfect! Assembly was easy, and the stand is light. I also used it to steam her gown (creases on graduation gowns drive me crazy!) and it worked great for that, too. Saving it for the next grad party in a few years, and now I have it to steam dresses in the meantime!

I got this to use with my clothing steamer and it does the trick. It's light weight and the legs retract which makes it easy to store. Great for shirts and vests as is. I use my own hangers for my slacks since the clips that come with it are a bit light weight and have a hard time not slipping.

Overall flimsy, but if you put a bit of weight on the feet it is ok. We needed something that could be put away easily and this fits the bill. But for the life of me I can't figure out what this extra part does. It is in photo #1 in the upper left. Mine is just dangling on the hanger for now.

Wow. This thing is totally a piece of junk. It's super super lightweight. No instructions come with it. But it's fairly straight forward to put together. The really incredibly bad part is that the top piece, the piece you need to be stable as you are steaming, just 'sits' on top of the post. It doesn't attach, it doesn't connect, it literally falls off if you try to hang something on it to steam. It's crazy garbage. In fact, that is what I did with it. I tossed it. But not before I tried to super glue the top - which does stop it from being taken apart and stowed. The super glue didn't work because there really wasn't enough for it to attach to. I even tried duct tape. Classy huh? I highly recommend you don't waste your money and keep more plastic out of the landfill. Grrrrr! With new presentation at funerals, this is a much easier item to carry to wake and set up regalia presentation. My wife also likes using it to steam her special garments.
