If you like reading about weird stuff this book is for you! Amazing images that pretty much run the gamut of the influences plants have played throughout human history. Soo much information! So many beautiful images. Every time I open it I see something new. It’s a fun resource for curious people! And the price!! I couldn’t NOT buy it! It’s worth triple what I paid which was a little over $20. I plan on buying some more books in this series.

I am only giving this book a 5* rating for the actual visual work of art that it is. The fact that there were no packaging of any type is more than disappointing. Jeff Bezos started Amazon to ship books, yes books, and to see this book damaged is a shame. There is no pride in the way things are handled in shipping anymore. And I’m not returning it because I may receive one in worse shape.

I found this book here in Colombia but it was 3 times the price and the only copy I found was damaged. I was beyond ecstatic to find this book and the Witchcraft book at such an amazing price. These books are so beautiful!!!!! Don't think twice about it. The quality of the art and the content of the book is far what I would have imagined. Then again TASCHEN books are always stunning.

Not as good as the others in this series as far as context goes, but this is a subject that’s hard to contain, so I understand. It’s a great intro to the basics. Beautifully produced! Great for collectors.

No es lo que esperaba ya que contiene muy poco texto y muy poca información respecto al uso de las plantas y herbolaria. Principalmente es una colección de imágenes, como un Pinterest o tumblr en formato físico. La edición y el diseño es bonito y atractivo como regalo pero tan solo toca el tema superficialmente.

I love these Esoterica books. The illustrations are stunning. Look good on the coffee table.
