Aveeno Calm+Restore is helping me with the redness and dryness that comes with having rosacea. I have been using this product for about two weeks for my face and chest area. The redness and bumps have calmed down a lot. My face doesn't look as dry. This cream is very soothing when applying. It is not greasy and my skin looks better. I use it under my makeup. It does not have a strong smell and it is easy to apply.

I think the lighting on my photos doesn’t really give it justice but I’ve been using this product for 5 days, and I see a substantial difference already. I have been struggling with this redness for months, and more expensive products don’t seem to affect it at all. This actually seems to be working. Not oily, or sticky. When I first used it, my face was tingly, but it didn’t hurt, it was just weird and it only happened when I first used it and not since. Bumps are almost completely gone and I think I have a chance of getting it all to go away in a few weeks. I recommend it. So far it seems to work for me.

I’ve been using this moisturizer for several years now, and I always come back to it. It dries down really nicely and doesn’t leave my face feeling sticky or greasy afterward, which is a huge plus for me. I also notice a real difference in my redness when I use this compared to other facial moisturizers. My cheeks tend to stay pretty rosy, and this definitely helps calm them down and make my skin look more even. It’s gentle, fragrance-free, and works great for sensitive skin. If you struggle with red cheeks like I do, this is absolutely worth trying!

Recently diagnosed with Rosacea, due to a massive flare up on my entire forehead, scalp slightly into hairline. Had been flaring lightly for months, coming and going. I believe the culprit was a hard cider that had added sulfites, as I never had that specific cider before, rarely drink ciders and I can’t think of anything else I ate or drank that would’ve done it. I don’t have a diagnosed sulfite sensitivity. Anyway, the flare up has been very painful, like a bruised burning sensation along with intense itching and skin shedding. The first two nights on Metrogel were miserable, was actually painful, and dried my skin so bad. Did some research and found this moisturizer, and Aveeno products usually work for me. I have sensitive skin, and this cream is a bit rough when first put on. It could be because my skin is so raw, but I wait for about 10 minutes after an application of Metrogel, and put this on lightly. It stings and burns for a few minutes while it absorbs and dries, but it absolutely starts calming the dry intense burning/ itching, crawling sensation in minutes. After using it for 3 days, my skin is looking a bit better. It’s probably a combination of the metrogel, washing my face with a sulfur containing soap bar, which cleans the skin, but pulls oils out, really drying it along with the Metrogel. I wait about 10 minutes after the Metrogel dries before I apply this. Like I said, it burns and is unpleasant for a few minutes then rapid calms down and makes the skin feel nice and helps so much with flaking and that tight feeling. My forehead doesn’t feel like sandpaper anymore, probably because it’s peeling like crazy, like dandruff of the forehead, and is exfoliating. This cream is good, really helping the dry skin. As far as fighting redness, I can’t attest to that as my whole forehead looked like I was buried in the sand up to my nose on the hottest sunlit beach for 10 hours. Maybe for small patches, but for any large area that’s looking real rough, it may help a bit, but I’m not seeing any big change after 4 days. All in all, it’s a good cream, that won’t clog your pores as your body exfoliates and tries to heal itself. The burning/stinging sensation upon application is the only reason I’m giving this product 4 stars.

I just purchased this product this past Sunday..I received it 4 days later. I was really looking forward to trying this because of the skin sensitivity on my face as well as, some of the issues I've been currently noticing. Once I read & followed the directions about the application, and applied it to my face.. OMG!. This stuff right here.. feels soo good when applying. I can't say too much about it because I've only used it once but, it definitely is moisturizing & hydrating during/after application. It did not leave any residue or leave my face oily or greasy. Based on the application, and the way it left my skin feeling & looking, I am hoping that we will have a long lasting relationship! Thanks Aveeno. I finally found something that may work for my skin!! 👍

I had a stress related breakout on my right cheek for months. This cream helped me diminish it at a 90%. I did pair it up with Good Molecules 10% Azelaic Acid treatment. That seem to do the trick for me. But I do like this cream by itself. It's thick but doesnt feel to heavy and it absorbs really quickly.

I love this cream it’s non greasy hydrating and my skin absorbs it so well. I’ve tried tons of face creams from expensive and inexpensive and this is the one that genuinely helped my skin barrier . I like the note that I also use the aveeno calm + restore face wash . Definitely give it a try

This cream does seem to somewhat calm my skin, but as several other reviews have said, it burns for a bit when I first put it on. I'm not sure it's worth it--there has to be something that doesn't make my skin feel worse before it feels better.

You can use lightly. I'm learning as I go. So using less and less. Then you can stretch out each container.

No siento que calme las rojeces ,pero como humectante es muy buena me ayudo a mejorar las partes con descamación, no te deja textura grasosa y se absorbe muy bien
