Worth the Money/Give this Brand a Try
It's delicious, easy and feeds a group. It's a great value for your money. It's not too spicy, I would call it mild/medium heat. I like to have a few of these on hand. So far, everything I've bought from Bear Creek is pretty good. We really like their soups and these pouches make a ton. So, I freeze it for later. It's also very easy to "make it your own", by adding some of your own ingredients. (It's not necessary to do that but, I always throw in extra veggies). If you are a busy person/family, give this brand a try. You cook it once, freeze in portions and zap it in the microwave whenever.

Delicious chili!
We just made this last night and it lived up to its name! It was easy to make but makes a lot! That’s ok as we froze the leftovers. Excellent chili that I’d recommend to others.

Delicious Tortilla coup
My favorite tortilla soup which tastes homemade and can be used as a base for adding other ingredients during the cooking process (chicken, corn, beans , tomatoes) to enhance the flavor to make it taste even better . I top after served portion with chopped onions , cilantro , cheese, avocado and chips , creating a restaurant quality bowl of soup . I like how you can make it thick or thin depending on your preference .Highly recommend !

Great Taste
Bear Creek’s Cheddar Potato Soup is still as tasty as I remember from when I worked for the company. The texture is creamy, the flavor is rich, and it an easy, quick, and comforting meal. The quality is solid with ingredients that I can read. I like using it for a sauce or extra flavoring. One pouch goes a long way like this. My only issue now is the sodium, which is a bit too high for my current taste and dietary needs. If salt is not a concern for you, it is a great, satisfying soup mix that delivers exactly what it promises.

Mmmy, mmmm good.
Oh this soup is so delicious. I love all the Bear Creek soup mixes. I just use them as straight soup, but I know they would be fantastic for recipes too.

Best soup mix hands down!
I love chilli. I mean who doesn't? And with this kit anyone can easily make a pot. With or without meat. One important detail to remember though. If you plan to prepare this for a crock pot meal, first cook in a pot and then transfer to your crock pot. Why? Well crock pots don't get up to the necessary heat level to properly reconstitute the freeze dried beans, rice etc. that is in the mix. I believe you add 7 cups of water and a small can of tomato paste. (8oz) to a large pot. Heat, mix and wallah. Step one is complete. Then if your gonna add meat, nows the time. Transfer the chilli mix over to the crock pot and then put in the meat. One great trick if using hamburger or my favorite, carne asada steak, is to put it right in the pot you cooked the chilli in. Don't rinse it out. The left over bit in the pot with season the meat for ya without having to add any additional salt or Seasons that might over season the chilli. Another great meat choice is beef jerky. Not some cheap dollar store brand but some good quality jerky. Bridgeford makes a half decent jerky that's also reasonably priced. For that just take the jerky out of the pouch,(carefully removing the stay fresh pack) and put in the pot. Add a out one cup of beef stock and simmer covered on low for twenty to thirty minutes. Which ever flavor you use will bleed into the stock and make a rich salty brine. You then strain out the meat and drop into the chilli. Keep the brine, cause you can make some yummy beef soup out of it for a later meal. Transfer the brine to a container with a lid and refrigerate. It will last in the fridge for up to ten days. And if you wanna take your chilli to the next level, add a can or two of Goya seasoned black beans. If you don't want to add additional liquids, just strain the can before adding the beans. But you'll lose a lot of flavor so keep that in mind. This mix is easy to make for a quick meal or a slow cooker mega meal. It'll warm you up, fill your belly and won't hurt your wallet. Well that's it folks. Till next review... Be good to one another. Always keep your sticks on the ice. And always put the seat down after you flush. Mehr.
