Embroidex 24 Spools Variegated Embroidery Machine Thread

I bought this thread for general sewing. The thread arrived in a box and each spool shrink wrapped. The sheen of this thread is beautiful and has a nice array of colors. I had zero issues finding the end of the thread, there is a loop knot that easily comes undone. Works great on cotton and has not broken or frayed. For basic sewing this set is awesome and an excellent value at around 65 cents per spool.

I have used one of the spools. I have a Deluxe Ruby Royale Embroidery machine. I used standard needles not embroidery needles. I compared the two brands and the polyester thread is almost as shiny as the Robison-Anton Rayon 40. The difference is so small that I would still buy the polyester thread and 1/6 of the price. There are only three minor issues that I quickly resolved. (1) The spool doesn't have a snap base so I put a piece of double sided tape inside the spool lip. (2) The thread unwinds the opposite way as the Robison-Anton so I turned it upside down and used a smaller holder. (3) The thread unwraps to quickly and gets tangled, to correct this I used the additional thread holder and looped the thread around the spindle, then it unwound properly. It did not break or shred.

great product for the price and a good choice of color thread works great in my singer futura embroidery machine

This is good thread but I had in mind variegated thread sewed out continuous multi-color. This however, sews out in blocks of multiple colors. Works well for embroidering initials or text.

Love this thread. I have never been brave enough to buy embroidery thread off the internet, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and performance of this thread. It has a great sheen. I have been using it for several months already and have had no issues with breakage. It stitches out beautifully. I think I found a new thread. Love it!

Thread was just as gorgeous in person as it was in picture! I love Embroidex threads and have never had a problem - I love that I can get a bigger variety of colors for the same price of a smaller variety of the much more known brand names! If you ever wanted to try a brand and not be disappointed give Embroidex a try!

I like the small compact storage box that these came in and find it a most organized way to store them. I was less impressed with the particular color combinations included in the set, but at such a low price I am still glad to have them. I used them on some very dense embroidery and am perfectly happy with the quality.

This REALLY NEEDS TEN STARS Fabulous, From start to finish great thread. Comes off spool easily, no catching or tearing or shredding. Doesn't bunch up or twist. Sews with a BEAUTIFUL sheen I had not seen on any previous variegated thread I've used over the years. I think this bunch will last me for a while, but this is where I will go when needing more.

A nice selection of variegated threads at a sensible price.
