These really are very light strings
I've been migrating to ever lighter strings for a couple of years now as my hands are getting older and a little arthritic. These strings sound as good as heavier ones when plugged in, are fantastically light and beautifully easy to bend. The only snag is that on first trying them, they are quite easy to inadvertantly bend out of tune, especially with some chords, though I found I quickly adjusted my technique.

Zippy Slinkys, just as good and easier to play
I switched down from 9s to Roto Greens at 8-gauge due to an injury (not tendonitis from too much practice!) and the switch helped, but then I found out about these Zippy Slinkys. So down another gauge from 8s to 7s, and these Zippy Slinkys are just wonderful. Yes, I was scared of snapping the 9 and the 7 (B and high E strings) but they didn't need THAT much stretching so far. A BIG turn on the truss rod, lefty-loosy looking from headstock to body, about a 120 degree turn, and I am pretty much there, again, so far so good. I did need to meddle with the saddles for the intonation but that was totally manageable. And here we are. Tomorrow I might need to tweak it some more but the string tension is just so much more manageable. Bearing in mind the 9 is now the B string, so there is less tension on each string. I am aware of the fakes and thankfully I am pretty sure mine are legit. Someone out there should start selling bulk packs of 7s, seriously. I am certainly up for some of these in Steel with no nickel plating, or from Ernie Ball's own M-Steel range. Of course, if Roto made them in their British Steel range, I would buy those over EBs, but that's another story.

Great Strings
Great Strings. These are exceptionally light 7 gauge for the High E. Very Susceptible to tuning drift because of how light they are, but great sound, and easy to bend.

Zippy slinky 7s.
I bought these for fun. Turned out to be really helpful to train bends.. because you can pretty much bend up 3 whole steps with ease, I found it really good to train the ear.

Super light but play amazing
I have used Ernie Ball strings now for years and the quality is always great. I thought I would try these zippyies and they are light but still strong. They still sound bright and warm. Ty may feel great and play amazing like all the other Ernie Ball strings.

They're slinky alright
Be prepared to work on your playing style if you are used to 10s and try these out. They'll bend like crazy with a light touch. Yes, they also break easier if you are heavy handed or use heavy picks with manly enthusiasm. Stick them on a LP, crank up the Magnatone BG signature amps and you'll be zippy zoom at the top of your game. They kind of feel like thin rubber bands on a strat or tele, but again, just lighten the touch and they'll be your friend. Goes without saying they have the Ernie Ball quality and reliability and great tone.
