I've been using Unicorn Beetle cases since 2018, and I love them. I'm somewhat klutzy and have had countless pretty hard drops on concrete or in water that should have complete obliterated my phone, and they've always came out unscathed. I used the included screen protector, and the fingerprint scanner works great. I also have had no issues using tap and pay. The ring/stand on the back is a great addition that the older models I used had, because this phone is kind of big for my hand, and it makes it comfortable hold. I also like the colors. The wine addition is nice because I wanted an indestructible case, but having feminine details is nice too. When I read the reviews for this model, I thought it maybe wouldn't be as good as previous versions, but the quality remains amazing. I plan on buying these for years to come. *EDIT: While I still love this case (no issues with fingerprint reader, tap and pay works great, my phone has survived some hard falls) the kickstand is weak. There are thin plastic tabs that slot the stand into the back of the case, and it takes nothing to break them. The first one broke off after a month. Still able to use with just 3, but I bought in Sept and by Dec the stand was unuseable. Those tabs need to be replaced with metal

maker has 2 models. older one has a built in screen, that fits case like a glove, no bubbles, no sticking. easy to affix. for me a belt clip is a must, and this one has a good one. as plastics are, belt clip could break. happy to buy again a year later. happy with case, this is a keeper for me. Added 2025: Screen is senistive to touch. each time you remove case for SIM replacement (like travel), screen protector lose some senstivity. last less than a year. 3rd party managing warranty doesnt answer phone calls during biz hours - hard to reach. Still good case. Wish company offered EXTRA screen protector (and can ditch 3rd party un responsive cs) . otherwise case donest work, as frame with built in screen is part of package! (muli layers. Good for protection, bad for screen protector going bad, require purchase of entire case again)

I have used SupCase Unicorn Beetle cases since having a Galaxy Tab S3 screen crack when used with a standard cover. While the corners do tend to get brittle over a few years, causing the front cover to crack, the cases provide amazing protection against drops and scratches to the screen. This case is no different. It's a little larger than the previous Encased Rebel I was using, and the clip seems a bit less engineered/sturdy, I was having a very difficult time finding a good screen protector for the Ultra that didn't require UV glue. I've read occasional horror stories about phone damage during installation as well as issues with removal when the screen protectors crack. Unfortunately every tempered glass protector had dismal reviews and the TPU films continually seem to peel up and bubble on this phone. SupCase didn't have the built in protector for the S8 Ultra when I first purchased, so I went with the Rebel plus TPU with the problem of having continual peeling and bubbles on the screen as I smoothed the protector back in place. The built in protector should fix these issues, and after my son having used the SupCase for his S8+ for the past 8 months with good success I decided to switch over. I've only had it on for a few hours, but so far so good. The screen protectors on the SupCase will scratch if in contact with a rough surface, but they protect the device's screen admirably. I've not had many drops, but the few times I did the fragile screen on the Tab S3 received no damage when in the Unicorn Beetle. Best is that the complaints about the fingerprint reader are overstated. The reader works flawlessly and the tiny adhesive circle is almost impossible to see except under very specific circumstances. The case could have a bit of an upgrade for the holster, but otherwise I'd rate this as a complete success like all of the other SupCase products I have purchased. If you fix anything, a holster that doesn't feel like it will fail in a few weeks might be an improvement.

This case is tough, durable, and can take out anything you dish at it...almost Installation was straight forward, with clear instructions attached to the phone The frame is a two piece design. Consisting of the rear rubber and plastic housing, and a front frame. The packaging comes two front frames, one with an integrated clear plastic screen protector, and one without Installing the front frame is easy, with the frame with screen protector taking just a little bit of care Here's a tip if you get a piece of dust between the fingerprint scanner circle I used an isopropyl alcohol cleaning pad to wipe the dust off and reapplied the phone Took me a few tries, but I was able to get the dust off Aside from that, installation is easy, and I highly recommend this case The phone still charges with my Anker wireless charger, however other chargers may or may not have the same success The only complaint I currently have is that with it not being completely sealed, water can get into the the case and can migrate between the integrated screen protector and the phone screen, which would require you taking the phone apart to dry it I would give this 4.5 stars, but since it isn't an option, 4 stars it is

The very best when it comes to protecting your expensive azz purchase. The only issue is that it doesn't last long. Yes it will take a lickin and keep on ticking. But as everything it all breaks down eventually. If you are not that rough with your phone (you protect it like thats your umbilical cord) then this case will out last many others. If you are rough with your phone ( eg construction, demolition, pipeline, just about any physical work that causes you to be active all day or just a butterfinger and drop things constantly) then the lifetime of the case is dramatically shortened. Look for the stand to break. Look for the frame that houses the phone to break. Look fo dust to collect in the speaker piece between the pen and charge port. If you use the built in screen protector you have maybe 2 times for removal and replace for the fingerprint to still work if you are cautious and dont get dirt or dust on the adhesive. So try your best to apply it right the first time. I've had my phone since the s22 ultra released and have only used this case. I've had to replace the case at least once a year except for various circumstances due to me being clumsy. All together this purchase makes the 5th. It is not waterproof the water will roll off the protector but you still have speakers for the earpiece and mouth piece. The installation is tough to handle just due to getting flexibility in those stiff parts. Thats being said do not over hulk the thing and break it trying to get it apart. The value is ok at times if you can catch it on sale. As I mentioned earlier the kickstand will eventually break but doubles as a pop socket. I hope this has helped your decision in your purchase. I like the case it's quality it's strong and will protect my phone great. I will say I was hoping it would be more clear. I like the color of my phone and wanted to show it while keeping it protected. This cas is kinda of more like a frosted glass can't see the phone all that well. The screen you can see great it's a high quality case that has the option for the screen protector or just the frame. I give it 5 stars for quality and I guess it is technicly clear.

Yes, very tight fit, I almost thought it wasn't sized correctly. Putting it on and taking off, very difficult. You have to find that one flex corner to make it work. The reason I'm here today, the front cover prevents me from using bio touch. Worked great for a few months, now nothing. Cleaning does nothing. I finally turned touch off because by accounts kept locking me out after too many attempts. Looking for a new case. NO!!!! The case is not on so I can use bio to complete my purchase. 🤔😉🤣

This case is one heck of a protector. It's bulky, seals nicely, and is very protective, even with the screen protector. However, the screen protector is also its downfall. It would have been nice if the housing was glass that fit snug to the case, whilst still allowing the fingerprint to work. Alas, the one on this one is just a firm plastic. While it will protect against scratches and scuffs, i don't think it will protect the screen from a drop onto a surface with raised objects, like rocks or gravel. Those drops depend on the glass strength itself, and this is just a plastic film that doesn't match the same quality as the rest of the case. Fingerprint Scanner: It works about 9 out of 10 times, even with a slightly raised part on the adhesive due to quality control. In order to get it to work, you have to set your fingerprint on the bare screen of the phone first. Then, wipe the phone with an alcohol pad until there are no streaks or particles. Remove the film from the screen protector, top and bottom, as well as the finger print part (DONT TOUCH OR RUB IT). IMMEDIATELY place the screen protector onto the phone screen bottom first. Then make sure all the sides are sealed. After, press your finger onto the scanner adhesive and apply pressure in a circular motion OUTWARDS. If bubbles remain, press from the bubble, and move outwards of the circle until none remain. Finally, go into your phone and turn on the increased sensitivity and add your second fingerprint. Screen Protector: As seen above, the scanner works While following those steps, however, as stated, I don't think it would actually protect against drops that have rocks or gravel-like objects on it. Another thing I noticed almost hours after installation, the rainbow discoloration on the film itself. No amount of wiping with a air bubble tool or even your finger will remove it. I assume it is due to the heat the phone outputs during its use. (This is the main reason why I will be returning this version of the case.) Bottom Line: If you want a FANTASTIC phone case that will protect against drops and usage. Get the case WITHOUT the screen protector, and just get your own tempered glass on the phone. That plus the other version of this case, your S22 Ultra will be a tank. If you don't mind the hit-or-miss plastic screen protector or don't have to worry about the dropping of it, then I would get this version instead. Other than that, the CASE itself is amazing. The SCREEN PROTECTOR is disappointing.

Overall great case, no doubt in that. Comes with extra front frame without screen protector film for you to have a tempered glass if prefers. Provided screen film works well with fingerprint reading and works smooth. Rear stand is also quite useful and also for gripping whilst holding, although not sure of its durability. But hey you can't expect something to be that strong and foldable. The design on the sides gives good grip. The only thing I found negative is the camera lens has no major protection although it sits well below the case level. However, if the drops on an uneven surface the lens may get scratches or even get damaged. So buying an additional glass cover for lens is ideal for complete safety or brand could add that too. NO DOUBT your phone is well safe in this case if dropped on a pretty level hard surface. Good design and the material is easy to clean as well.

Pro: Very sturdy. Easy to attach screen protector. Durable kickstand that has a good angle. Feels qualitative. Original color. Fingerprint works. Con: Bulky, it doesn't fit many car or desk stands that clamp around your phone. The kickstand is hard to open, some can't open it without using a tool. When moisture touches the phone, it can be trapped behind the glass and be hard to remove. The fingerprint circle can be harder to ignore in some views.

So this has three parts: the overall case you can keep the phone in if you already have a screen protector, the extra case with the clip you can put on it, and the screen protector front case part that is meant to connect to the back case. The first two are also sold on Amazon cheaper, so you can go for only that option. And I recommend doing that. Because the front case *doesn't fit into the back case as the instructions say it's meant to*. It's made to be inserted into it, but it's exactly the same size, and no part is meant to be opened, unclipped, or removed beforehand. So unless I'm meant to bash the front and the back part together until they magically meld, paying extra for the front screen protector is useless. Extra: even if it were to fit, the original samsung tempered glass seems way sturdier, stick with that.
