This is a great little saw. I am not going to give away my corded Ridgid saw, but this one is easily portable and has enough power to get the job done.

It's a Kobalt! Very nice
This is such a nice lightweight saw. Purchased for my husband. We were building a new large shed. The saw he had was 20 yrs old and corded. Time to upgrade. He loves all the Kobalt brand tools so this was no exception. Very well built. Very lightweight and balanced so it makes it really nice to use.

Bogs down easily
I thought I was purchasing the more recent model, but this was an older model that has some problems and lacks features of the newer model. It bogs down on some cuts. It'll work for my needs which is mainly cutting sheet goods in the home center parking lot so I can fit them in my van.
