Saved me from a chemical burn.
I've been really struggling to find something that hydrated my face well and doesn't just sit over the top of it like a film. I happened upon a YouTube video from a beauty influencer and she used this spray and highly recommended it, so I bought it to test it out, but was in the process of trying a different moisturizer at the time, so I put it on the wait list more or less. Then I ended up trying a new cleanser to better help clear out my sebaceous filaments, and for whatever reason the cleanser (which was supposed to be gentle) was way too aggressive for my skin and caused a massive chemical burn across my cheeks. I was devastated, they were doing pretty well before that and now they're covered in rough scaly dry patches where my skin barrier is broken, and those are going to take a while to heal. Now, every moisturizer that worked for me before burns my skin becaise the barrier has been so thoroughly wrecked, and moreover, more substantive creams just seem to lay on top and not do much to fix the problem. I thought my only option was to slug with aquaphor 24/7 until things healed up, meanwhile my face is so itchy and stings all the time. Then out of nowhere I remembered that I bought this stuff, and normally I wouldn't try something new while my skin is like this, but I thought well I'm pretty desperate, and how could it possibly get any worse at this point? So I sprayed an even coat of this over my skin and the relief was immediate. I was so shocked. It created a substantial barrier over the damage, while at the same time soaking in and making the dry crusts feel softer and calmer. I have to figure that maybe a moisturizer in a fine particle mist is what I needed to penetrate this wall of skin damage, and after I sprayed this on and patted it in, and after it dried, my skin was way more receptive to my usual creams layered on top, and didn't burn from them. The damage is still there and it'll be there for a while, but this spray has made a huge difference in keeping it hydrated and speeding up my path to recovery. It does feel a little tacky at first but I'll be honest that doesn't bother me. Especially not when the alternative for me right now is aquaphor. However when my skin heals I think that slightly tacky application texture will make for really smooth makeup application so I can see it being an excellent primer that will last a long time. I also really appreciate how gentle it is on sensitive skin. I have hypersensitive skin, obviously evidenced by the fact that a "gentle" cleanser approved by the eczema and rosacia associations dealt me a chemical burn. This spray is unscented which is always a plus, does not aggravate my rosacia or cause trapped heat in my cheeks, which is something that very few products on the market accomplish for me. It doesn't rely on hyaluronic acid or niacinamide, both of which cause issues for me. I just feel nourished and non-irritated after spraying it on. Truly a game changer....I wish more skincare available in America was formulated like this.

Never Believed in "Holy Grails"...Until Now
Long Review: At first, I got this to use on my body. I hate slathering lotion on myself - I think I have a weird thing with texture and the texture of lotion on my hands (no matter how "quick absorbing" the lotions claim) bothered me so much that I'd never finish a bottle. But, that resulted in dry, ashy skin that was embarrassing so I'd been looking for a spray type, and after extensive research, this was honestly the only one of its kind I could find that wasn't $$$. I gave it a shot after reading the reviews and knowing that Japanese skincare products are typically very well formulated. I'm happy to report that I'm pretty sure I can't live without it anymore, and I lament that you can't take pressurized cans on flights with you because I have to be without it when I go on vacation. Pros: - You actually don't need to spray a lot. I learned this after my first can because I emptied in 2 weeks. With the next can, I spray a little further away from my body than instructed and only spray where I need and let the residual spray does the rest. - I don't have to touch it. I spray and I'm done. No more lotion texture! - Hydrating. I'm not ashy anymore. - Unscented. - Clean ingredient list - put all ingredients through ChatGPT to make sure there were no harmful chemicals. - Very fine mist which helps cover a large surface area. If they can make a non-aerosol version, I'd love that so that I can take it on planes with me. (Mini) Cons: - If you spray a lot on, you'll feel like you're damp from a shower for a few hours. It's an interesting feeling, and I can see some people really not liking that. However, now that I spray a limited amount, my skin absorbs it fully and I don't feel like that anymore. - Again, depending on how much you spray, you can run out pretty quickly. Like my title, I NEVER believed in what people like to call the "holy grail" of their skincare routine. I've been fooled by that claim too many times and I've never experienced this with any product....until now. Since I had such great results with my body, I read in the reviews that people used it for their face so I decided to give it a try. For context, I struggle with acne in my mid 30s. I've probably tried almost everything under the sun in terms of skincare and nothing has ever worked. Strangely, this product is keeping new breakouts at bay since I've started using it in the AM and PM. Obviously, I'm not claiming that it will be a holy grail for others, but for me, it's really simplified and changed my skincare routine a ton. I am really glad I found this product because there's really nothing else like it on the market for the same price point. Highly recommend trying it, even if you are acne-prone! Finding the right kind of moisturizer is critical for acne and I'm pleasantly surprised to find it in this product.

Wonderful Product!
I have become a big fan of curel! My skin doesn't become irritated, it's shiney and lightweight. Well worth the money! I have dry acne prone skin and I'm grateful to say that I have had no flakey skin this cold season and my skin shines in the light. I've received many compliments in the last few months on the healthy improvements to my skin.

Glazed donut!
Before I bought this, I looked for detailed reviews but couldn’t find any that pinpointed exactly what I needed to know. Firstly I took a picture next to a popular brand of body mist for a size comparison. Size matters for storage and traveling purposes. It’s unscented and sprays out a very gentle-fine mist that isn’t splotchy or too aggressive on the face. The performance is what takes the cake. HOLY HYDRATION!! Once applied, when it dries, it leaves the skin feeling hydrated with a very soft dewy finish, not to be confused with greasy or oily. It’s a multitasker, it can be used after washing the face before serums and creams, then it can also be applied on top of skincare without disturbing the formula of serums and creams. It can be used to prep the skin before makeup application and it can be used to set the makeup if you’re going for a very subtle glow. It’s gentle enough for a youthful/teenage face but superior enough for mature skin as well. I use tretinoin in my routine at night and this helps to soothe and hydrate with zero irritation to my sensitive skin. I have nothing bad to say about this product, other than the fact that I wished I’d gotten it sooner! I’m a skincare junkie and it’s replaced alllll of my face mists from other brands like Glymed, Fresh, Caudalie, La Roche Posay, Tatcha, etc. 10/10, highly recommend!!

Amazing moisturizing toner, aerosol can sprayer will drench your clothes
I really love this formula of this spray toner. It was so hydrating and left my skin moisturized, glowing, and it calmed any irritation that I was experiencing. I also felt that the moisturizer lasted throughout the day. It didn't disappear a few minutes after application. This product did not dry out my skin like other toners that have a high water content like hypochlorous acid sprays and some popular facial sprays/mists. I would repurchase this product but the sprayer on the aerosol can is waaay to aggressive! I get more of this product on my clothes than I do on my face! If I hold it close to my face so to avoid my clothing then I get drenched in the product. The quality of this product is in line with Laniege, Tatcha, and Summer Fridays. The aerosol can and the over aggressive sprayer is the problem. If this product was in a spray bottle, it would be perfect. If you can get past the aerosol can, this is a great product for moisturizing dry and dehydrated skin.

Facial Mist I didn’t know I needed
A great facial mist to refresh you at any point of the day. This has become a staple of my routine, especially in the colder months or dry seasons. I appreciate how my skin feels after using this and the product lasts me a long time. It is a very good value and reliable product,

Curel Skin Care Deep Moisture Spray - works great
Curel Japanese Skin Care Deep Moisture Spray - pleasantly surprised - after testing the spray on my throat to see how it dispenses, I closed my eyes over a sink and gave a quick spray (1 second). (sprays like hair spray). It covered my entire face with a very, very light layer of moisturizer all at once - no need to rub or dab my skin. Really good for dry weather with hot sun (UV) outside on dry skin. Doesn't feel oily. Like it better than the pump spray Curel makes that is a bit more watery and I have to spray that on a palm and use fingers to dab on my face.

Best with other skin care and for the face
This product came pretty high up in the search results for spray lotion here on Amazon and I thought I recognized the name and so did not thoroughly read the description. Upon reviewing the product description and the back of the can, I realize it is more for cosmetic use or use in conjunction with other products. This is born out through use as well. When sprayed on bare, clean skin the result is mediocre at best as it leaves a sticky residue. However, sprayed over skin care or makeup it does provide a slight occlusive effect and seems to seal in moisture that's already there or applied. I bought it for my husband's extremely dry body skin but will be using it myself to mist over my skin care and makeup instead.
