It seems to work as well, or better than the Scotch repellant.

This along with the detergrent is almost like a science experiment. As long as you follow the instructions properly, this will work wonders! Finally tried it out and it revitalized my Patagonia Torrentshell. I also threw in my rain pants and that crappy Chrome x RAB Downpour jacket that I desperately wanted to return because I came out soaked after a downpour. Hoping this made the waterproofing a lot better than what I was given.

This product smells fresh, spreads easily and wipes clean bring up the shine on my black granite counter. I like it. The price is lower than others, but just as good.

I use this on my Pyke hunting pants to keep them waterproof. I also used it on an Orvis Pro softshell jacket, and now water just beads off it. I was skeptical, but it really works great. These are refills, so don't forget to buy a spray bottle to put them in.

Does the job as stated. Great product. Used it for salvaging a waterproof bins that accidentally got washed and took the repo Off. This product saved the bibs and brought them to full glory !

You'll see in my photographs that first I show what happens before treatment. The coat absorbs the water and it explains why I get wet/damp in the rain. I then followed the instructions on the bottle and used the Grangers Performance Wash before application. 1st) I rinsed my washing machine out on a quick 5 mins rinse setting to remove any residue soap 2nd) I zipped up my coat, emptied my pockets and then set my coat on a quick 44 mins wash (30 degrees, 800 spin) 3rd) I turned on the machine and didn't add the 2 capfuls of liquid into the drawer until the draining mode on the washing machine was completed so as not to lose any product before the wash had even started! 4th) I removed the coat, at the end of the cycle, which was now damp and laid it out to spray 5) I found the damp material absorbed the spray well and I wiped off excess with kitchen roll - I gave the coat a good all round spray 6) when I was happy I put the coat into the dryer on a low heat setting 7) the result is as you can see in the other two photos and video. Fantastic. My son was so amazed with the results, he ran upstairs to grab his ski jacket (checking it can go in the dryer) so that we can do the same for him. Very easy to use and extremely happy with the outcome. So pleased to have gone for this product (vs its competitor). Great value for money and has rescued my raincoat for another season.
