My cat is very limited on the proteins he can tolerate, and turkey is the one he has no issues with. He is feed a homemade raw diet with a completer. Occasionally I feed him canned food. He LOVES this Instinct Limited Ingredient Turkey and has no tummy issues. I love the ingredients and feel good about feeding him this brand. I have reviewed many other top name brands and find this one seems to have the best limited ingredients on the market.

Two of my girls suddenly have developed cancer. They are 16 so I guess it isn't surprising. I am trying to just feed them better food and Instinct is a better food. I can't save them, but I can keep them going as long as possible. So in my opinion keep your cats on good food as much as possible. I also make Buffalo for them to eat. Cat-Mom

I have a cat with severe IBD and this food (turkey flavor) was a godsend; his intestinal problems cleared up, he ate it heartily, and all was right with the world, for close to three months. And then suddenly he took a huge downturn and everything went bad again. My husband commented that he thought the cans had changed, that they were lighter weight. Also that the texture of the food seemed different. Further investigation indicated that the new formula has montmorillonite clay and marine micro algae oil that were not there before. I don't know if it's the new ingredients or just a lower quality meat that have made this food just not workable for my poor sick cat. I feel really disappointed about it because it was such a good food and he was doing so well.

My kittens loved this food, but my older cat wasnt a big fan. We got this for her because she has issues with fish ingredients. We got turkey, but we're going to try a different flavor.

Our cats really enjoy this food! Our 17-year-old cat has IBS and often struggles with digestive issues, so finding something that agrees with her has been a challenge. We were specifically looking for a limited-ingredient option without the hassle of making it ourselves—and this seems to be the winner! Not only does our senior girl tolerate it well, but our other cats love it too.
