Is this a whole grain product, or does the "white" mean the bran and germ have been removed?

Sorghum plants & corn plants are close relatives. In fact, some sorghum grains can be popped, similar to popcorn. So just as there is white corn that has nothing removed, likewise white corn meal, sorghum flour is whole grain flour.

Is there a difference between sweet sorghum flour vs sorghum flour?

According to recipes, yes. I ordered sweet sorghum flour and was sad to receive sorghum flour. So I ordered Sweet sorghum flour elsewhere on the web

Can this flour be used to make homemade biscuits?

Yes, but not by itself. I use a self rising flour mixture: 1-1/4 cups white sorghum flour; 1-1/4 cups white rice flour; 1/2 cup tapioca starch/flour; 2 teaswpoons xanthan gum; 4 teaspoons baing powder; 1/2 teaspoon salt. If you have a favorite biscuit recipe that aready has baking powder and salt in it, omit them from here and substitute this flour mixture one to one for the flour in your recipe. Happy baking.

Great alternative to use as part of a gluten free recipe. Pleasant tasting, but need to make sure it is used wisely because if over used in a recipe it can be a little crumbly or like cardboard.

This sorghum flour is a great substitute for wheat flour. Things I bake with it taste the same as if baked with wheat flour. But if you are baking something with yeast, you will probably have to add other ingredients to make it rise the same way wheat flour would rise. Very good quality.
