Q: Can you set it up so the alarm wont stop beeping until you turn it off?

Hello, thank you very much for your question, This 8-sided digital cube timer alarm can be turned on or off. Just touch the buttons on the screen at the same time to turn off the alarm sound. When the countdown time expires, only the flashing screen backlight will be reminded.

Q: How irritating is the alarm? Is it very harsh?

Not harsh at all. I love this thing. I use it in my sewing room.

Q: does it have a clock that tells time?

It is a timer, not a clock for telling time.

Q: Is there a built in Pomodoro timer (25 minutes of working & 5min of break, then resets)? Does it have a reminder noise/flash when you're close time?

No to both for the six sided timer, but I am not sure about the 8 sided timer.
